摘要： An electrophotographic attachment for use with an optical projecting system for making a copy of a document on a sheet of carrier material.The attachment includes an electrophotographic belt that is mounted on rollers. The belt is rotated through a charging station, an exposure station, a toning station, an image transfer station and a cleaning station. The toning station includes a toning platen which serves to assist in the application of toner from a supply to the belt. Four embodiments of the toning station are described.

摘要： An electrophotographic method and apparatus for recording micrographic images as high resolution positive or reversal transparencies. Plural planar reusable electrophotographic plates are mounted for stepwise movement sequentially along a path for a cycle of successive operations, each plate being sucessively sequentially charged, exposed to a projected micrographics image to form a latent charge image thereof, said charge image toned, the toned image dried and contact transferred under application of heat and pressure by lamination to a transparent substrate, the lamination separated and the plate cleaned and discharged subsequent to separation for reuse. The transparency carrying the micrographics image embedded therein is mounted on a suitable holder.The apparatus includes a rotor for mounting the plates about its circumference and a framework for mounting the functional stations positioned about the rotor circumference in operative condition relative the plates mounted on said rotor. A stepping motor or other incremental-type drive drives the rotor in a programmed movement. The framework and rotor are surrounded by a light-tight housing. A suitable aperture is provided in the housing to enable an exterior projector to direct a micrographics image to the charged photoconductive surface of the plate. A transfer station includes feed, guide and storage as a self contained unit, including both heating and pressure units for laminating the plate carryng the toner image and the transparent substrate.

摘要： An attachment for a graphic art camera taking the place of the ordinary silver halide film cartridge for use in making a lithographic printing plate. The attachment includes an endless web mounted on rollers. At least a portion of the web is made of flexible electrophotographic film. The electrophotographic film is rotated past a charging station where the film is charged, an exposure station where a latent image is formed, a toning station where the latent image is toned with an ink-receptive toner, and a transfer station. At the transfer station the toned image is transferred from the film portion to a blank lithographic printing plate. The resulting plate is suitable for use in an offset printing press.

摘要： An apparatus and method for automatically stacking bills (like paper currency) in a container, generally cruciform in shape in cross section, and defining first and second intersecting rectangular compartments therein. The bills are singly fed in a feed plane in a chute towards an opening in the container with the length of the bills in the chute being positioned perpendicular to a common axis of the container. A selector with first and second legs depending therefrom is shifted between first and second positions so as to alternately position the first and second legs in the feed plane causing successive bills being fed to be rotated in the feed plane and fed alternately into the first and second compartments.

摘要： A buoyant bumper system for attachment to a docking facility and cushioning a boat. The buoyant bumper system includes an elongated travel shaft for engaging the docking facility, a travel sleeve slidably carried by the travel shaft, a system float carried by the travel sleeve and a resilient bumper carried by the travel sleeve in spaced-apart relationship to the system float. Throughout tidal rise and fall of a water body, the system float maintains the bumper at a fixed level with respect to the boat. Therefore, the buoyant bumper system is capable of cushioning and preventing damage to the boat throughout a full range of tidal movement as the boat is docked to a docking facility.
