Abstract: A self-suction dust collection attachment including a dust collection motor and a fan can be mechanically coupled and electrically connected to multiple types of power tools. A dust collection attachment attachable to a first power tool includes a casing, a suction portion, a dust collector that captures dust sucked through the suction portion, a fan that generates a suction force in the suction portion, a dust collection motor that rotates the fan, and an adapter attachable to at least a second power tool and detachably attachable to the casing. The adapter includes a mechanical coupler that couples the casing and the second power tool and an electrical connector that electrically connects the dust collection attachment and the second power tool when the dust collection attachment is coupled to the second power tool.

Abstract: A dust collecting attachment for an electric power tool includes dust collecting fans, a suctioning portion, and a dust collecting portion. The suctioning portion generates a suctioning force by rotation of the dust collecting fans. The dust collecting portion captures dust suctioned from the suctioning portion. When the dust collecting attachment is mounted to an electric power tool including a motor, a fan shaft of the dust collecting fans is connected to a rotation shaft that is disposed in the electric power tool and rotates in accordance with driving of the motor to allow the dust collecting fans to rotate integrally with the rotation shaft. The dust collecting fans are disposed in a plurality of stages in an axial direction of the fan shaft.

In a state in which at least one of the battery packs (170A, 170B) is mounted on at least one of the battery mount parts (160A, 160B), a length of the mounted battery in a driving axis extending direction is shorter than a length of the mounted battery in a cross direction.
