Abstract: A controller for a sewing machine comprising an auxiliary pilepressing plate which is attached at one end to supporting plates and engaged at the other end with a pull bar which is driven by a pedal, a pile-pressing plate kept in contact at one end with the supported end of said auxiliary pile-pressing plate and held at the other end engageably apart from said auxiliary pile-pressing plate, and a pile-pressing part kept in contact with said pilepressing plate.
