摘要： Method for making a doll's head, for use in conjunction with a suitable torso, which will excrete a fluid through the brow portion of the head for simulating perspiration, and a method for making the same. The doll head includes an exterior surface formed and contoured with human characteristics and including an interior cavity or reservoir for storing fluid. The head is formed of flexible plastic having a slit at the mouth providing a valve for filling the interior reservoir and a plurality of small measured holes or pores in the brow or forehead which permit the fluid to flow outwardly therethrough. The method includes the steps of heating a mold containing heat curable plastic and slush molding the plastic to attain the interior shape of the mold. The mold comprises an outer head forming shell which is open at the neck for the insertion of plastic thereinto, and a cap which closes the neck and has a plug portion extending into the shell to form the interior reservoir of the head between the shell and the plug portion.

摘要： A velocipede is provided in the form of a carriage supported by swivel wheels and having a drive or propelling wheel for engaging a support surface and propelling the velocipede along the surface. The propelling wheel has an axle secured to the lower end of a generally vertical shaft having a steering wheel at the upper end thereof so that the direction of the propelling wheel, and thus the direction in which the carriage travels, is controlled by turning the steering wheel. The steering wheel shaft and propelling wheel can be turned 360.degree. so that the velocipede can be turned to travel in any direction at any time. The velocipede is propelled by a pair of pedals on a Z shaft secured to a drive gear forming a part of the drive train for driving the propelling wheel. Gears are also provided transmitting rotational force to one end of a spool gear surrounding the steering shaft. The other end of the spool gear engages an annular or circular gear on the propelling wheel to propel the wheel regardless of the direction toward which it is turned.

摘要： A four-legged walking toy includes a body supported by four pivotally secured legs and a drive mechanism operative upon the legs which includes a pair of mirror image drive units each having three elliptical gears therein. The center elliptical gears of each drive unit are coupled in a one hundred eighty degree phase relationship to offset the operation of left legs from right legs correspondingly. A plurality of frictional members are positioned on the underside of the animal hooves to provide frictional engagement as the walking toy is pushed across a suitable surface. The rearward movement of each forwardly extended leg couples rotational power through the elliptical gear mechanisms to the remaining legs to provide a realistic motion profile.

摘要： A motor driven doll that rises from a face-down prone position to an erect standing position. Cam followers drive first one leg from an extended position behind the torso of the doll to a more forward position and then similarly drive the other leg to bring the doll to a splayed leg crouching position. Thereafter, simultaneous movement of the cam followers rotate the torso relative to both of the legs at the same time to raise the doll to an erect standing position. As the second leg is being moved from the rearward extended position, a third cam drive pivots the head rearwardly to shift the center of gravity and assist in raising the doll. As the doll reaches a fully erect position the head is driven to a forward position and, at the same time, a fourth drive effects a swiveling of the head so that the doll displays a pert glance of accomplishment.
