An image display apparatus according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a display; a signal processing device configured to output an image signal to the display; and an interface configured to exchange data with a mobile terminal or a server, in which the interface receives a connection request and a network address of the mobile terminal from the mobile terminal, and the signal processing device is configured to generate a certificate and a security key based on the network address of the mobile terminal, and transmit the generated certificate and security key to the mobile terminal. Therefore, the certificate may be dynamically generated.
