Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image display apparatus and a video wall including the same. The image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a panel including a plurality of light emitting diodes; and a driving controller configured to output a scan signal to the plurality of light emitting diodes for each of a plurality of subframe periods, in which the driving controller outputs a scan signal and a data signal to the light emitting diode during the plurality of subframe periods in a first mode corresponding to a display mode, and outputs only any one of the scan signal and the data signal during some subframe periods among the plurality of subframe periods in a second mode for sensing a pointer light. Accordingly, the pointer light can be stably sensed without a separate optical sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image display apparatus and a video wall including the same. The image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a panel with a plurality of light emitting diodes; and a driving controller configured to output a scan signal to the plurality of light emitting diodes during each of a plurality of subframe periods, wherein, in response to the gray level of a frame including a plurality of subframes being above a predetermined level, the driving controller outputs a data signal based on pulse width modulation to the light emitting diodes, and in response to the gray level of the frame being below the predetermined level, the driving controller outputs a data signal based on pulse amplitude modulation to the light emitting diodes while dividing the gray level of the frame and distributing the divided gray level across at least part of the subframes. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently reduce flicker.

Abstract: Disclosed is a structure for finely adjusting the distance between image output portions constituted by a plurality of panels or modules of a display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a display panel including a first panel module and a second panel module arranged in a vertical plane for outputting images forward, a support frame disposed at the rear of the display panel for supporting the display panel, and a control unit disposed at the rear of the display panel for controlling the outputting the images from the display panel. The display apparatus further includes a connection unit, a receiving unit, and an adjustment unit for finely adjusting the distance between the display modules. In addition, the display apparatus further includes a recess part and a protrusion part, which are movably coupled to each other for circuit connection, in order to enable fine adjustment of the distance between the display panel modules of the display panel.
