Abstract: A mobile terminal utilizing location information and a method of controlling therefor are disclosed. A mobile terminal according to one embodiment includes a memory configured to store map information, a camera configured to capture a first image, a position-location module configured to obtain location information when the first image is captured, a display and when the obtained first image is displayed in the display with a magnification satisfying a first condition, if a first command for changing the magnification of the first image is detected, a controller configured to control the display to display a map of a first range containing a point corresponding to the obtained location information.
