Abstract: A lithium metal secondary battery including: an electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a lithium metal negative electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the lithium metal negative electrode, a protective layer interposed between the lithium metal negative electrode and the separator; and a non-aqueous electrolyte injected to the electrode assembly, wherein the protective layer includes a polymer having a sulfur chain group.
