Abstract:
The present invention provides a sealing material having excellent water resistance for a long time. A sealing material A of the present invention comprises: a rubber resin sheet 1; and a thermoplastic resin foam layer 2 formed at least on one surface of the rubber resin sheet 1. The sealing material A has a 25% compressive strength in a thickness direction of 2 to 40 kPa as measured in accordance with JIS K6767 and the thermoplastic resin foam layer 2 has a closed cell ratio of 10 to 60%. As a result, the sealing material A has excellent water resistance right after the use thereof and even after a long time has elapsed, and is suitably used in various applications.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a closed-cell foamed rubber sheet whose sealability is less likely to decrease even after long-time use and which has excellent water resistance. The closed-cell foamed rubber sheet of the present invention comprises a rubber-based resin, and is provided by the steps of: providing a foamable resin composition containing the rubber-based resin and a foaming agent; irradiating the foamable resin composition with ionizing radiation to cross-link the foamable resin composition; and foaming the cross-linked foamable resin composition. In the case where the foamable resin composition further contains 0.5 parts by weight or more of a powdery additive other than the foaming agent per 100 parts by weight of the rubber-based resin, the rubber-based resin preferably contains a rubber-based resin ingredient which is in a liquid state at normal temperature.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a rubber-based resin closed-cell foam sheet with its sealing capability being unlikely to be lowered even for a prolonged period of use, and with its excellent waterproofing capability. The inventive rubber-based resin closed-cell foam sheet is characterized in that the foam sheet includes a rubber-based resin containing a nitrile group, and exhibits an excellent adhesion. When used as a waterproof sealing material, the foam sheet can adhere, in a tightly close contact, to the interface of a portion to be sealed. Therefore, the inventive rubber-based resin closed-cell foam sheet can be advantageously used as a waterproof sealing material having high sealing capability and excellent waterproofing capability.

Abstract:
A plurality of types of body cases, a movement unit housed inside each of the body cases, and a dial unit are provided. The movement unit is configured to include a gauge head swingably supported by a movement frame; a crown gear rotatably supported by the movement frame; and a magnifying transmission mechanism magnifying and transmitting a swing amount of the gauge head to a rotation amount of the crown gear. The dial unit is configured to include an indicating needle rotatably provided in a dial frame; a scale plate provided along a rotation area of the indicating needle; and a pinion transmitting rotation of the crown gear to the indicating needle.
Abstract:
A braking device of a measuring instrument includes a body case and a spindle that penetrates the body case to be axially and reciprocably displaceable. The braking device includes a cylinder of which a first end is attached to the body case for accommodating a second end of the spindle, a piston provided on the second end of the spindle and accommodated to be reciprocably displaceable within the cylinder, a closing member provided on a second end of the cylinder to form a damper chamber between the closing member and the piston; a shaft connected to a side of the piston opposite to the spindle and penetrates the closing member; and a knob provided on a distal end of the shaft. A clearance is provided between the closing member and the shaft to circulate air.
Abstract:
An ink-jet recording apparatus is provided which includes an ink-jet head having a plurality of ink chambers and a common ink chamber which communicates with each of the plurality of ink chambers to supply ink to the plurality of ink chambers, the ink-jet head maintaining the plurality of ink chambers at a negative pressure in image recording, selecting one of the plurality of ink chambers on the basis of printing data and causing change in volume of the selected ink chamber, and thereby performing image recording by discharging the ink from a nozzle, and a pressure section which applies a positive pressure to the plurality of ink chambers when the ink-jet head is in a left state, the positive pressure being a pressure at which the ink is not discharged from the nozzle.
