摘要: Cyclodextrin compositions, including a hydrophobic carrier and a cyclodextrin complex, are formed and disposed on a variety of substrates using conditions that avoid substantial loss of the complexed compound from the cyclodextrin complex, even where the complexed compound is a gas a common ambient temperatures (e.g. 20° C.). Flexographic printing is particularly useful for disposing the cyclodextrin compositions on one or more substrates. Substrates treated with the cyclodextrin complexes are useful for subsequent release of the complexed compound.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a personal care absorbent article such as a feminine hygiene absorbent personal care article for receiving a body exudate such as menses. The article includes a topsheet layer, a backsheet layer, at least one absorbent core layer positioned between the topsheet layer and the backsheet layer, optionally a pair of wings, and a decolorization means associated with the article for altering the visual appearance and/or physical characteristics of the a body exudate. The use of the decolorization means provides several benefits to the end user including the creation of a visually smaller stain on the top surface of the topsheet layer and a possible reduction in staining of the wearer's apparel should the body exudate leak from or off of the article being worn.

摘要: Improved skin-adhesive compositions for bonding a substrate, such as an absorbent article, to skin are disclosed. More particularly, the skin-adhesive composition has an improved, yet gentle, adhesion to the skin of a user, while maintaining strong, effective bonding to various inanimate, non-skin substrates. In one embodiment, the skin-adhesive composition can provide one or more skin benefit agents to the user. The skin-adhesive composition may be applied to an absorbent article, such as a panty-liner, sanitary napkin, or an incontinence article, for directly adhering the article to the skin of a user.
