摘要: In a hybrid vehicle that includes an engine and a motor-generator connected to the engine through a power split device, upon acceleration in a running state, there may arise a case where the rotational speed of the MG1 enters a lockup area and, then, the MG1 cannot pull out of the lockup state with ease in such a manner that the rotational speed of the MG1 is shifted from a normal rotation area to a reverse rotation area, in accordance with an increase of a torque produced by the MG1. In this case, the engine is controlled such that a torque produced by the engine is decreased. Thus, the rotational speeds of the engine and MG1 are reduced entirely, so that the MG1 can pull out of the lockup state without increasing the torque produced by the MG1 any more.

摘要: A first motor generator-control unit (MG1-ECU) and a second motor generator-control unit (MG2-ECU) are provided independently for respective motor generators. The MG2-ECU performs electric power balance control by correcting an MG2 torque command value as required, so that the sum of the MG1 electric power and the MG2 electric power is within a range of allowable input/output electric power of a DC power supply. The electric power balance control is performed using an estimate of the MG1 electric power based on data obtained by the MG1-ECU. The estimate is determined so that a communication delay time between the MG1-ECU and the MG2-ECU is corrected. In this way, the electric power balance control can be performed appropriately for restricting, within a predetermined range, the total input/output electric power of the electric motors as a whole of a hybrid vehicle mounted with a plurality of motor generators (electric motors).

摘要: A first motor generator-control unit (MG1-ECU) and a second motor generator-control unit (MG2-ECU) are provided independently for respective motor generators. 摘要: In application of a square wave voltage to a motor MG2 to make the motor MG2 output a torque equivalent to a torque command Tm2*, the procedure of square wave control corrects reference phases ψb and −ψb as phases for maximizing an absolute value of the output torque of the motor MG2 with a rotational position detection error θerr and sets the results of the correction to an upper limit phase ψul and a lower limit phase ψll of the square wave voltage (step S110). A target voltage phase ψ* is set within a phase range defined by the upper limit phase ψul and the lower limit phase ψll, in order to reduce a torque difference between the torque command Tm2* and a torque estimate Tm2est (steps S120 and S130). An inverter 42 is controlled based on the target voltage phase ψ* and a rotational angle θ of the motor MG2.

摘要: The application is directed to solving the problem of generation of overdischarging from a power storage device according to compensation for reduction in electrical power generated by a first motor generator (MG1) corresponding to reduction in the revolution speed of the MG1. When detection is made of reduction in the revolution speed of the MG1 corresponding to reduction in the engine speed, any of the four following operations is carried out: (1) modifying the output torque of the MG1 such that electrical power generated by the MG1 increases; (2) modifying the output torque of a second motor generator (MG2) such that power consumption by the MG2 is reduced; (3) forcing the control mode of the MG1 to be changed to PWM control from one-pulse switching control; and (4) reducing the DC voltage command value for the converter.

The control device performs a procedure for obtaining an offset amount according to a request for obtaining the offset amount, which offset amount is a difference between a detected rotational position of the rotary shaft with the rotational position detector and an actual rotational position of the rotary shaft. The control device is configured to perform the procedure for obtaining the offset amount while the engine is running, when the vehicle stops and the control device determines that there is the request for obtaining the offset amount.
