Abstract:
A fastener driving tool includes a fastener drive mechanism and a trigger that is movable from an OFF position to an ON position for actuating the fastener drive mechanism. A mode change device is operable to selectively change a tool mode among a first drive mode, a second drive mode and a drive inhibit mode for the fastener drive mechanism. The mode change device includes an operation member that is operable by an operator. The operation member has a plurality of operational positions that correspond to the changeable modes.
Abstract:
A nailing machine includes a nail feeding channel member having therein a nail feeding channel connected to a nail guide channel formed in a driver guide. A driver is reciprocally driven through the nail guide channel for driving nails of a nail-carrying strip supplied by a nail feeding mechanism from a magazine through the nail feeding channel. A door member is mounted on the nail feeding channel member for closing and opening the nail feeding channel. An engaging pawl and a strip-retaining pawl are mounted on the door member. The engaging pawl is operable to engage one of engaging holes of the nail-carrying strip set in the nail feeding channel, as the door member is closed, for preventing movement of the nail-carrying strip in a direction opposite to the feeding direction of the nail-carrying strip. The strip-retaining pawl is operable to abut on the nail-carrying strip prior to engagement of the engaging pawl with the one engaging hole, as the door member is closed, for preventing floating of the nail-carrying strip.
Abstract:
A nail gun includes a contact arm that is movable relative to a nail gun body between an upper first stroke end position and a lower second stroke end position. The contact arm may prevent the nails from being driven when it is in the first stroke end position. A nail driving prevention device includes an engaging member that is movable to enter the moving path of the contact arm so as to prevent the contact arm from moving from the first stroke end position toward the second stroke end position when the number of the nails in a nail magazine has been reduced to a predetermined number. A deviating device is operable to change the moving course of the engaging member away from the moving path of the contact arm when the contact arm is positioned above the first stroke end position.
Abstract:
A nailing machine includes a body, a driver extending downwardly from said body and vertically reciprocally movable for driving nails, and a driver guide for guiding the driver. A contact arm is movable between a lower first position and an upper second position and has a lower end for abutment on a work. The driver guide and the contact arm are fixed to each other and cooperate with each other to form a nail driving channel through which the nails are driven into the work.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an improved nail driving tool comprising a housing including a reciprocable driver, a driver guide fixedly connected to and extending vertically from the lower end of the housing for slidably receiving the driver therein, a handle secured to and extending laterally outwardly from the central portion of the housing, and a magazine including a storing portion adapted to receive a nail package including a multiplicity of nails interconnected in series and a nail guiding portion adapted to guide the leading portion of the nail package to the driver guide, the magazine including a fixed wall portion secured at one end to the driver guide and extending generally below and parallel with the longitudinal extent of the handle and a closure wall portion pivotally movable about the driver guide with respect to the fixed wall portion between an operative closed position and an open position exposing the interior of the magazine.
Abstract:
A disc grinder includes a grinding wheel cover rotatably mounted to a gear housing about an axis of a spindle. A stopper device can restrict a position adjustable range of the grinding wheel cover of the spindle and includes a first stopper on the side of the grinding wheel cover and a second stopper on the side of the gear housing. The first stopper and the second stopper have stopper surfaces for contacting with each other. An impact absorbing device can absorb an impact produced when the stopper surfaces contact with each other.
Abstract:
A nailing machine includes a body, a driver extending downwardly from the body and vertically reciprocally movable for driving nails, and a driver guide for guiding the driver. A contact arm is movable between a lower first position and an upper second position and has a lower end for abutment on a work. A magazine is mounted on the body for feeding the nails into the driver guide. A trigger is operable by an operator for driving the driver. A trigger control device is interlocked between the trigger and the contact arm for permitting the driver to be driven by the operation of the trigger only when the contact arm is positioned in the upper second position. An idle driving prevention device is operable independently of the trigger control device for preventing the driver from being driven through operation of the trigger when the amount of the nails has been reduced to a predetermined amount.
Abstract:
A magazine for use with a fastener driving tool is adapted for feeding a fastener stick having fasteners connected in series into a driver guide. The magazine has a magazine body and a slide door. The magazine body has a bottom defining a guide surface for the fastener stick. The slide door is mounted on the magazine body and is slidable in a feeding direction of the fastener stick relative to the magazine body between a closed position and an open position. The slide door in the closed position and the bottom of said magazine body cooperate to define a fastener storing chamber for storing the fastener stick therebetween. The fastener storing chamber is opened to the outside when the slide door is at the open position. A pusher serves to push the fastener stick in the fastener storing chamber in the fastener feeding direction. A directing member serves to direct the rear portion of the fastener stick toward the bottom of said magazine body prior to pushing the fastener stick by the pusher when the slide door is moved from the open position to the closed position.
Abstract:
There is proposed a nail driving tool provided with a driver guide including an injection hole for driving a nail and a contact arm surrounding an outer surface of a forward end of the driver guide in a nail driving direction, provided with an eject hole penetrating through the contact arm, movable on an axial line along the nail driving direction for making triggering operation for driving a nail effective by being moved in the opposite direction to the nail driving direction and designed to drive a nail outwardly through the eject hole, wherein a diameter of an outer surface of a forward end portion of the contact arm is decreased taperingly toward its edge in the nail driving direction. A diameter of the eject hole of the contact arm in the vicinity of the forward end of the contact arm in the nail driving direction is nearly equal to that of the injection hole of the driver guide in the vicinity of the forward end of the driver guide in the nail driving direction and an outer diameter of the contact arm in the vicinity of the forward end of the contact arm is equal to or smaller than an outer diameter of the driver guide in the vicinity of the forward end of the driver guide. A spike is provided on the outer surface of the forward end portion of the contact arm for preventing slippage of the contact arm when a nail is driven obliquely. It is easy for the user of the nail driving tool to see and aim at the point to drive a nail.
