Problem to be Solved: The present invention provides a novel mucosal adjuvant.Solution: The present invention provides a mucosal adjuvant composition containing at least a composition comprising molecules having a molecular weight in a range of 100 to 300 kDa obtained from cells or culture fluid of Bordetella bronchiseptica. Administration of the mucosal adjuvant composition to a non-human animal at a surface of the mucous membrane can enhance immunity at the surface of mucous membrane. Therefore preventive effects against trans-mucosal infection can be increased by administering an inactivated vaccine against trans-mucosal infection and the mucosal adjuvant composition to a non-human animal at a surface of mucous membrane. The present invention is effective for preventing trans-mucosal infections, including one or more infections of e.g., canine parainfluenza, canine adenovirus, canine coronavirus, canine parvovirus, canine distemper virus, canine herpesvirus, reovirus and pneumovirus.

An attenuated feline recombinant herpesvirus 1 (FHV-1), which is prepared by identifying gene regions in the genome wherein inserted foreign genes can be expressed without affecting the replication of FHV-1 and has least two types of foreign nucleic acid sequences inserted thereinto, usable as a vector virus or a vaccine. In this attenuated recombinant FHV-1, at least two types of foreign genes are inserted in such a manner as allowing the expression into two different gene regions exerting no lethal effect on the proliferation of the virus in the feline herpesvirus 1 genome.

The cyclic motion of the screen may be performed by tracing a figure-8 path.

A cuvette for use in an automatic chemical analyzer is formed of molded transparent plastic material, the cuvette having a flat box construction made of main walls, side walls and a bottom. Entrance and exit windows for a measuring light beam are formed in the side walls in such a manner the windows are recessed inwardly with respect to the side walls. A number of such cuvettes are arranged in a magazine and a plurality of such magazines are set in an automatic cuvette loader for supplying the cuvettes in a reaction line one by one. The automatic cuvette loader has a first slider for moving the magazines stocked in a container into a cuvette loading position one by one and for pushing the cuvettes in the magazine in a direction perpendicular to a discharging direction and a second slider for pushing a cuvette array in the cuvette discharging direction so as to discharge the cuvettes one by one through an outlet formed in the magazine.
