Abstract:
An inkjet recording device includes a recording head and a waste ink tray. The recording head is configured to eject droplets of ink. The waste ink tray is configured to receive the ink drained from the recording head. A surface of the waste ink tray, which receives the ink, is made of an antibacterial agent containing resin composition. A solubility of the antibacterial agent containing resin composition, which is measured by a predetermined measurement method, is 1.0 or higher and 3.0 or lower.

An inkjet ink contains a pigment, a pigment dispersion resin, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a polymer nonionic surfactant. The pigment dispersion resin has an acid value of at least 55 mgKOH/g and no greater than 97 mgKOH/g. The polymer nonionic surfactant has a mass average molecular weight of at least 7,000 and no greater than 12,500. An inkjet recording apparatus includes a linehead and a conveyance section which conveys a recording medium. The linehead ejects the above inkjet ink onto the recording medium.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes three or more recording heads. The recording heads contain different inks and eject the different inks sequentially on a recording medium. The different inks each contain a pigment. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected first has the lowest pigment content ratio. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected third and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a pigment content ratio equal to or higher than that of the pigment contained in a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected. Of the different inks, an ink to be ejected second and an ink to be subsequently ejected each have a lower viscosity at 25° C. than a corresponding one of inks to be precedently ejected.
Abstract:
An ink set includes a water-based ink and a water-based cleaning liquid. The water-based ink and the water-based cleaning liquid each contain at least 1.0% by mass and no greater than 4.0% by mass of a deliquescent agent. The water-based cleaning liquid further contains a nonionic surfactant and a diol. The deliquescent agent that the water-based ink contains and the deliquescent agent that the water-based cleaning liquid contains each include at least one of sorbitol, trimethylolpropane, and 1,3-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-5,5-dimethylhydantoin. The nonionic surfactant has an HLB value determined by Griffin method of at least 14 and no greater than 16. The diol includes at least one of triethylene glycol and 1,3-propanediol.

An ink-jet ink includes pigment particles; a binder resin; and a penetrant. The binder resin includes a self-emulsification specific resin. The specific resin includes a first repeating unit derived from specific alkyl ester (meth)acrylate including a straight-chain alkyl group having 9 or more and 15 or less carbon atoms. In the specific resin, a content ratio of the first repeating unit is 6.0% by mass or more and 20.0% by mass or less. The penetrant includes specific alkanediol having 6 or more and 8 or less carbon atoms.
Abstract:

The first resin includes a repeating unit derived from methyl methacrylate at a content percentage of at least 30% by mass and no greater than 70% by mass relative to all repeating units included in the first resin. The second resin has a content percentage of the repeating unit derived from methyl methacrylate of less than 30% by mass relative all repeating units included in the second resin. The moisturizing agent includes an α,ω-alkanediol. An inkjet recording system includes a conveyance section and an inkjet recording head including a plurality of nozzles that eject the inkjet ink to form dots on a recording medium conveyed by the conveyance section.
Abstract:
A decurling device includes a decurler. The decurler includes a first dryer roller, a second dryer roller, and a heat source. The heat source is disposed at the first dryer roller to heat the first dryer roller. The first dryer roller and the second dryer roller rotate while holding a sheet therebetween to convey the sheet.
Abstract:
A decurling device includes a first conveyance path, a second conveyance path, a first switch, a decurler, and a controller. A sheet is conveyed along the first conveyance path or the second conveyance path. The first switch switches a route of conveyance of the sheet to the first conveyance path or the second conveyance path. The sheet has a first main surface and a second main surface. The decurler is located in the second conveyance path. The decurler corrects curl of the sheet. In a situation in which a weight per unit area of the sheet is smaller than a first threshold value, the controller controls the first switch such that the sheet is conveyed along the second conveyance path.
