An image forming apparatus includes: an image reading section, an operating section; a synthesizing region acceptance section that accepts, through the touch panel, specification of an object synthesizing region of a document image acquired by reading by the image reading section; an object acquiring section that acquires a plurality of objects to be individually synthesized in the object synthesizing region; and an image creating section that synthesizes each of object images representing the acquired objects in the object synthesizing region of the document image, thus creating, for the plurality of objects, individual outputting synthetic images containing the respective object images synthesized thereinto.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a display section, an operation acceptance section, a printing section, an external terminal, a display control section, a readout control section, an interpreter section, and a control section. The readout control section reads metadata on a print job from a USB memory connected to the external terminal. The display control section uses a result of analysis of the metadata in the interpreter section to allow the display section to display a display prompting a user to specify a print target area in document data generated as the print job. The readout control section uses the result of analysis to read from the USB memory a portion of data corresponding to the specified print target area. The control section allows the printing section to perform print processing based on the read portion of data corresponding to the print target area.

An image processing apparatus includes a job processing portion, a first communication portion, a second communication portion, a job control portion. In the image processing apparatus, the first communication portion performs first wireless communication being proximity-type wireless communication. The second communication portion performs second wireless communication whose communicable distance is longer than that of the first wireless communication and whose communication speed is faster than that of the first wireless communication. After the first communication portion automatically establishes communication connection between the first communication portion and a transmission source of the signal through the first wireless communication, the first communication portion hands over the communication connection to second wireless communication. The image processing apparatus transmits information of a settable condition to a mobile information terminal through the second communication portion, and causes the job processing portion to execute a job in according to a job execution request.
