Abstract:
A sheet conveying device includes a first conveyance roller, a sheet conveyance path, a second conveyance roller, and a pair of bearing portions. The first conveyance roller is provided in an apparatus main body. The sheet conveyance path has a guide surface that guides a sheet member in a sheet conveyance direction. The second conveyance roller is rotatably attached to the guide surface via a shaft and abuts on the first conveyance roller by a predetermined pressing force. The bearing portions are provided on the guide surface and support the shaft. Each bearing portion includes a concave groove portion and a bush member. The concave groove portion is formed on the guide surface such that a groove depth direction is perpendicular to the guide surface. The bush member is attached to the concave groove portion so as to be slidable in the groove depth direction and support the shaft.
Abstract:
A sheet storage device includes a case, a lift plate, and a lift attachment. The lift attachment is fixed, in a detachable manner, to a central portion of the lift plate in a width direction. The lift attachment supports a lower surface of the sheets stacked on the lift plate at a position higher than the upper surface of the lift plate. The lift attachment includes a base portion and a pair of arm portions. The pair of arm portions are respectively formed to extend from an end portion of the base portion that is on a downstream side in the sheet feed direction, to opposite directions in the width direction.
Abstract:
This image forming apparatus is equipped with: a conveyance cover which forms a reverse conveyance path; and a double-sided conveyance unit. The conveyance cover is turnably mounted to a body housing, and the double-sided conveyance unit is turnably mounted to the conveyance cover. A side surface of the body housing is equipped with a first abutment surface. The double-sided conveyance unit is equipped with a second abutment surface that abuts on the first abutment surface. The first abutment surface and the second abutment surface are the surfaces against which the double-sided conveyance unit and the surface abut first when the conveyance cover is closed, if in a state where the conveyance cover is opened and the double-sided conveyance unit is separated from the conveyance cover. The abutment presses the double-sided conveyance unit toward a position to cause the conveyance cover to house the double-sided conveyance unit.
Abstract:
A rotation detection mechanism has a pulse plate, an optical sensor, a holder, and an input gear. The pulse plate has a light-blocking portion formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof. The optical sensor has a detection portion that detects whether an optical path thereof is opened or interrupted by the light-blocking portion of the pulse plate. The holder has a bearing hole that rotatably supports a rotary shaft of the pulse plate. The rotary shaft has a convex portion formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof and thus is in a key shape when seen from an axial direction thereof. On an inner peripheral surface of the bearing hole, a groove portion is formed through which the convex portion passes when the rotary shaft is inserted into the bearing hole, and the bearing hole is in a circular shape when seen from an axial direction thereof.

A sheet feeding device includes a lifting plate, a pickup roller, a lifting and lowering mechanism of the lifting plate and an end cursor. The end cursor has a cursor main body and a turning cursor plate. The turning cursor plate is coupled to the cursor main body turnably around a turning shaft extending in a width direction orthogonal to the conveying direction and slidably along a lifting and lowering direction of the lifting plate. The turning cursor plate is configured to be turned toward the downstream side in the conveying direction around the turning shaft by being pushed up with the lifting of the lifting plate while the turning shaft is moved upward so that the sheet is shifted toward the downstream side along an upper surface of the lifting plate with respect to the lifting plate.
