A fixing device includes a fixing member, a pressuring member, a separating claw separating a recording medium from the fixing member and a moving mechanism of the separating claw. The moving mechanism includes a biasing member, coaxial two input gears having different numbers of teeth, a bearing depression and a shaft protrusion. The two input gears rotate according to rotation the fixing or pressuring member while shifting by a difference of the numbers of teeth for each rotation. The bearing depression is depressed in one input gear, and has an inclined contact face. The shaft protrusion is protruded from the other input gear, and has an inclined distal end face contact with the contact face. The two input gears rotate to repeat coincidence of inclination directions of the contact face and the distal end face and shifting the inclination directions, and reciprocatingly move the separating claw.

A developing device includes a bottom cover part that covers a bottom surface of a developing container and forms an air passage extending in a front and rear direction between the bottom surface and the bottom cover part, an air blowing fan that supplies air into the air passage, and an air receiving port that is provided at a front end part of the air passage and receives the air supplied from the outside of the air passage by the air supply unit. Air discharge ports are provided on wall parts on both right and left sides forming the air passage and discharge the air flowing into the air passage to the outside of the air passage.

The intermediate transferring device attachably/detachably mounted to the rail member. The intermediate transferring device includes a toner carrier, a cleaning member, a first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism. The toner carrier is driven to be rotated by a driving source, and configured to carry a toner image. The cleaning member is driven to be rotated by the driving source, and configured to remove a toner which remains on the toner image carrier. The first transmission mechanism configured to transmit a driving force of the driving source to the toner image carrier. The second transmission mechanism configured to transmit the driving force of the driving source to the cleaning member. The first transmission mechanism and the second transmission mechanism are arranged between the frame and the rail member.

The second support frame includes a horizontal support member and a vertical support member. The scanner frame includes a member to be connected. The insertion plate of the connecting member penetrates through the opening of the member to be connected in the first direction, and is inserted through the opening of the vertical support member. The insertion plate has an upper face located in contact with an upper end face of the opening of the member to be connected, at least via one position, and has a lower face located in contact with a lower end face of the opening of the vertical support member, at least via two positions spaced from each other in the second direction.

A gear portion is integrally formed with an outer circumferential surface of the flange. An outer diameter of the gear portion is larger than a diameter size of the photoconductor drum. A guide member is provided on an upper surface of the frame and guides the edge portion upward when the drum unit is pulled out of the apparatus main body. An upper surface of the guide member includes first and second guide surfaces. The first guide surface is located more on a side of a center of the photoconductor drum than the edge position, and the second guide surface is located more on the side of the insertion direction than the edge position.
