Abstract: Provided is a nano-stratified barrier having flexibility and permeability and applicable to flexible organic light-emitting diodes (FOLEDs). The nano-stratified barrier according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate, a nano-stratified inorganic layer provided on the substrate and including a first inorganic layer and a second inorganic layer, and an organic layer provided on the nano-stratified inorganic layer, wherein the nano-stratified inorganic layer has voids at an interface between the first and second inorganic layers.

Abstract: A washable nano-stratified encapsulation barrier is provided. The washable nano-stratified encapsulation barrier includes a stratified inorganic layer including an aluminum oxide layer, and a silica-polymer layer provided in direct contact with the aluminum oxide layer and having silicon (Si)-oxygen (O) bond. An electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprises a substrate; the washable nano-stratified encapsulation barrier and provided on the substrate; and an organic electronic device provided on the substrate.
