Abstract:
A service actions database stores credentials for performing respective service actions. A service engineer (SE) database stores credentials of respective SE's. In a method of authorizing a servicing session of a medical device, a service ticket to perform a servicing session of the medical device is received. Credentials of a candidate SE are retrieved from the SE database. One or more service actions are determined for resolving the service ticket. Credentials required to perform the servicing session are retrieved from the service actions database based on the determined one or more service actions. It is determined whether the credentials of the candidate SE satisfy the credentials required to perform the servicing session. An indication is output that the candidate SE is unqualified to perform the servicing session when the credentials of the candidate SE do not satisfy the credentials required to perform the servicing session.
Abstract:
A communication system between an imaging bay containing a medical imaging device and a control room containing a controller for controlling the medical imaging device includes an intercom with a bay audio speaker and bay microphone in the imaging bay, and a communication path via which bay audio from the bay microphone is transmitted to the control room and via which instructions are transmitted from the control room to the bay audio speaker. An electronic processing device operatively connected with the communication path is programmed to at least one of (i) generate the instructions; (ii) modify the bay audio and output the modified bay audio in the control room; and/or (iii) analyze the bay audio to determine actionable information, determine a modification of or addition to a medical workflow based on the actionable information, and automatically implement the modification of or addition to the medical workflow.
Abstract:
In a method of locating medical equipment to be serviced, a map of a medical facility is accessed using an electronic processing device. The map includes a plurality of medical equipment each having a tag indicative of a location thereof. A user input is received which is indicative of a selection of a medical equipment of the plurality of medical equipment. A list of service actions to be performed for the selected medical equipment is displayed on a display device of the electronic processing device.
Abstract:
The invention provides for a medical instrument (400, 500, 600, 700) comprising a magnetic resonance imaging system (404) and an external beam radiotherapy system (402) for irradiating a target zone (438) of a subject with a beam (442) of ionizing radiation within the imaging zone. The medical instrument further comprises a processor (448) for controlling the medical instrument. Execution of instructions cause the processor to: acquire (100, 200) first magnetic resonance data (458); reconstruct (102, 202) a first magnetic resonance image (460) from the first magnetic resonance data; receive (104, 204) planning data (462), wherein the planning data specifies a spatially dependent radiation dose for the target zone; register (106, 206) the planning data to the first magnetic resonance image; and calculate (108, 208) an external beam dosage plan (468) and a brachytherapy dosage plan (468) using the spatially dependent radiation dose and the first magnetic resonance image.
