A printing system includes a client terminal and information processing apparatus located in a first subnetwork, and a first image forming apparatus located in a second subnetwork. A hardware processor of the information processing apparatus registers address information of the first image forming apparatus, and when receiving a search packet from the client terminal, creates a forwarding packet including information that the search packet has been sent and the address information of the client terminal, on the basis of the search packet, to send the forwarding packet to the address information of the first image forming apparatus. A hardware processor of the first image forming apparatus receives the forwarding packet, extracts the information that the search packet has been sent and the address information of the client terminal from the forwarding packet, and sends a response to the search packet to the address information or the client terminal.

A print control device, comprises: a receiving part for receiving an email; an address extracting part for extracting an address designated as a recipient of the email received by the receiving part; and an output controlling part for controlling production of a printed output based on the email when the receiving part receives the email. The output controlling part does not produce the printed output based on the email received by the receiving part if the multiple addresses are extracted by the address extracting part.

An MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) serving as a display device detects a touch on the touch panel and then sets a wait time in accordance with the position of the touch on the touch panel. If another touch is detected before the wait time has passed since the touch on the touch panel is detected, the MFP determines that the detected two touches are multi-touch. If the wait time has passed without detecting another touch since the touch on the touch panel is detected, the MFP determines that the detected touch is single touch.
