Abstract: A gas turbine engine, in which a compressed gas from a compressor of an axial-flow type is burned in a combustor and an obtained combustion gas drives a turbine, includes: a diffuser of an annular shape connected to an outlet of the compressor, the diffuser including a diffuser inner tube and a diffuser outer tube that are tubular members disposed concentrically with each other; and a plurality of partition members that are disposed in a diffuser flow path, which is an annular space formed between the diffuser inner tube and the diffuser outer tube, and divide the diffuser flow path in a circumferential direction.

Abstract: An exhaust diffuser includes: an internal cylinder; an external cylinder that forms an exhaust passage between the internal cylinder and the external cylinder, the exhaust passage expanding from front to rear; and at least one tubular strut that couples the internal cylinder and the external cylinder together. The external cylinder includes: a front conical portion that is positioned forward of the tubular strut; and an outer flaring portion that starts flaring at a positon forward of the tubular strut at an inclination angle that is greater than an inclination angle of the front conical portion. The internal cylinder includes: a front straight portion that faces the front conical portion and the outer flaring portion; and an inner flaring portion that starts flaring at a position between a maximum width portion and a trailing edge of the tubular strut.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes: a plurality of combustors disposed so as to incline radially outward from a turbine side toward a compressor side; and a diffuser inner tube and outer tube forming a diffuser as an upstream portion of a path that introduces a compressed gas from the compressor to the combustors. A transition duct portion of each combustor has such a shape that a circumferential dimension thereof gradually decreases from the turbine side to the compressor side so that a circumferential gap is formed between the transition duct portions. Downstream-side portions of the diffuser inner tube and outer tube each have a shape gradually increasing in diameter toward the downstream side. A turbine-side end of the circumferential gap at an inner diameter side of the transition duct portion is positioned radially inward of an imaginary extension conical surface continuous from the diffuser inner tube.

Abstract: The amount of consumption of gas is reduced when the gas is expanded to be cooled by using a plurality of expansion turbines. A high-pressure expansion turbine includes: a gas supply passage through which bearing gas is supplied to a bearing portion; and a gas discharge passage through which the bearing gas which has been supplied from the gas supply passage to the bearing portion is discharged from the bearing portion. A low-pressure expansion turbine includes: a gas supply passage through which the bearing gas is supplied to a bearing portion; and a gas discharge passage through which the bearing gas which has been supplied from the gas supply passage to the bearing portion is discharged from the bearing portion. The bearing gas discharged from the gas discharge passage of the high-pressure expansion turbine is supplied to the gas supply passage of the low-pressure expansion turbine.

Abstract: An intake structure of a compressor includes an intake duct forming an intake port opening in a direction away from a central axis of the compressor and a bellmouth forming an annular channel expanding from an inlet of the compressor toward an inner space of the intake duct. The bellmouth includes a plurality of struts connecting an inner casing positioned inside the annular channel and an outer casing positioned outside the annular channel. At least one of a plurality of transverse struts, of the plurality of struts, which are located on both sides of a center plane passing through the central axis of the compressor and the center of the intake port has a trailing edge positioned on a virtual plane passing through the central axis of the compressor and a leading edge positioned on a side of the intake port with respect to the virtual plane.
