Abstract:
The invention relates to an activation device for operating an electronic system in a motor vehicle, which has an electrically conductive sensor face for electrically coupling an operator to a system for operator detection. According to the invention, the sensor face is formed by the entire external surface, which can be touched by the operator, of the activation device by virtue of the fact that the external surface is of electrically conductive design.
Abstract:
Plug connections used to connect at least two modules of a motor vehicle cockpit to a main cable harness each comprise a first plug element and a second plug element which is designed as a suitable mating piece for the first plug element. Each of the first plug elements is electrically connected to the main cable harness and each of the second plug elements is electrically connected to a module cable harness which is part of one of the at least two modules. In order to simplify mounting of the modules, the plug connections are of identical design and are formed in a self-finding manner. The first plug element is in each case mechanically connected to the body of the motor vehicle and is arranged in an end region of the body, and the second plug element is mechanically fixed to an outer face, which is directed toward the end region of the body, of the respective module.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a display unit (1) having a display panel (2) which displays information from an electronic appliance in a vehicle and which is arranged between a first and a second viewer and whose display panel (2) can be oriented either to the first or to the second viewer. In line with the invention, the display unit (1) is provided with a swivel device (4, 12) for automatic orientation. The swivel device (4, 12) is in turn connected to a user identification device which identifies whether the first or the second viewer is currently using the electronic appliance. The swivel device (4, 12) orients the display panel (2) automatically to the viewer identified as the user.
Abstract:
A vehicle information system having a mode of operation for vehicle navigation and a mode of operation for telecommunication is presented. The system includes a database and a control and regulation unit that includes a processor configured for storing and executing control commands. The system further includes a display device connected to the control and regulation unit, an input apparatus connected to the control and regulation unit, and a data store which can store data records, image files, and control commands which can be stipulated for the data records.
Abstract:
A cockpit for installation in a motor vehicle between two A-pillars includes a printed board having electronic components connected to a crossmember via a pipe. The pipe is filled with a heat-absorbing fluid and conducts away heat generated by the electronic components to the crossmember.
Abstract:
A cable harness for connecting electrical components in a cockpit of a motor vehicle to an on-board motor-vehicle electrical system has a cockpit cable harness with a single main connection point to the on-board vehicle electrical system. The electrical components belong to a respective one of at least two modules, and the cockpit cable harness has a module connection point to each of the at least two modules. The electrical components are connected to the module connection point by a module cable harness.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an arrangement of groups of electronic components in the cockpit of a motor vehicle having a first group of electronic components for controlling a first vehicle function mounted on a first printed circuit board (9). According to the invention the printed circuit board (9) is fixed directly onto a support and/or a front panel (1) of the cockpit.
