Abstract: A convertible furniture frame assembly includes a base frame assembly having one or more support members attached to the base frame assembly which are disposed to maintain the convertible furniture frame assembly in an operative position, such as, relative to an underlying floor surface. A cushion support assembly is interconnected to the base frame assembly and is disposable between an upright seated configuration and an extended horizontal configuration. A biasing assembly having a simple and compact construction is interconnected between the base frame assembly and the cushion support assembly to facilitate disposition of the cushion support assembly between the upright seated configuration and the extended horizontal configuration.
