    摘要: A composition for oral, transdermal or subdermal administration to a subject is described. The composition contains: (a) an agonist component; (b) an antagonist component containing at least one antagonist and having a delayed time of release; and (c) an immediate release antagonist removal component, where the subject includes a gastrointestinal tract and the antagonist removal component is present in an amount sufficient to substantially remove the antagonist component from the gastrointestinal tract of the subject before the time of release of the antagonist component. The composition may be delivered to the subject by a method which includes the step of administering the composition orally, transdermally or subdermally to the subject. When the composition of the present invention is administered orally, the method of the present invention may include the step of administering a potassium compound to the subject.

    摘要: The present invention increases the shot capacity and the screw recovery time of an injection molding machine without increasing hydraulic pump capacity or motor horsepower. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, an existing injection molding machine is retrofitted with two cylinder and piston arrangements which are bolted onto the machine between its plasticizer barrel and its melt manifold. One of the cylinder and piston arrangements is employed to perform a mold-filling operation, whereas the other cylinder and piston arrangement is employed to perform packing and suck back operations.

    摘要: This invention reduces the time that a core rod must remain at an injection station of a plastic blow molding machine. The injection operation is usually performed by a plasticizer, and while the injection operation itself requires very little time, the plasticizer performs other roles that must be complete before the next injection. This invention uses two plasticizers alternately so that one can inject while the other recovers for its next injection operation. A plastic pump is used to relieve the plasticizers of some of the operations that they previously performed.

It circulates cooling fluid through core rods for cooling blown articles from the inside, preferably with the blown article on the outside of a balloon that is permanently connected with the core rod. The connection of the balloon to the core rod is constructed so that there is no axial pull on the balloon during stripping of the blown article from the core rod and balloon. The invention provides constructions for admitting air between the balloon and a blown parison to break the vacuum when the balloon is to be collapsed. Fluid is also circulated over the outside of the blown parison to cool it, and this can be done in a perforated shroud that serves as a blowing mold, particularly for flexible wall containers.

    摘要: This injection blow molding machine has special provision for maintaining the plastic of a parison on a core rod at the orientation temperature of the plastic; and stretching the plastic of the parison lengthwise of the core rod for orientation in the direction of one axis without any substantial increase in the diameter of the parison. After this orientation in one axis, the temperature is controlled to maintain an orientation temperature, and the plastic of the parison is then blown to a larger diameter so as to obtain orientation in another axis for bi-axial orientation. The core rod is covered by an elastic balloon, and provision is made for obtaining flow of the plastic on the core rod lengthwise of the rod during the first orientation operation.

This added length is obtained by having the first part of the blowing operation stretch the parison lengthwise before there is any substantial displacement of the parison in a radial direction. At the start of the blowing operation, a tube surrounds and confines radial expansion of the parison, but this tube is withdrawn progressively as the blowing operation continues.

    摘要: This invention cools the blowing mold and the plastic article blown therein to shorten the time that a core rod must remain at a blowing station of a blow molding machine for making plastic articles. The cooling is performed by conditioned air that is dried to lower its dew point. An air curtain is used to prevent other air from contacting with and depositing moisture on the mold. In order to take advantage of the shorter time at the blowing station, an auxiliary injection device is used to also shorten the time required for the injection operation; and auxiliary cooling is supplied to the core rod at the stripper station.
