摘要： An image forming apparatus having a printing medium feeding unit is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a driving roller and an idle roller which engage with each other and which feed a printing medium, an elastic member which elastically biases the driving roller toward the idle roller, and a releasing member. The releasing member releases the elastic member when a cover door is opened so that the driving roller and idle roller may be separated from one another to remove a jammed printing medium. Accordingly, when a jammed printing medium is removed, the printing medium is not crumpled or torn, parts of the image forming apparatus are not damaged, and the image forming apparatus does not malfunction.

摘要： A fixing unit and an image forming apparatus using the same. The fixing unit includes: a pair of fixing rollers that rotate and face each other and apply heat and pressure to a toner image transferred to the sheet of paper using electrophotography; a plurality of guide members disposed in the width direction of the sheet of paper to guide the sheet of paper discharged from the pair of fixing rollers to the discharge path, each of the guide members including a first guiding portion extending toward the discharge path from an outlet of the pair of fixing rollers; a first arm rotatably installed between the guide membersthat elastically contact the sheet of paper drawn out of the pair of fixing rollers and guide the sheet of paper to the discharge path; and an elastic member elastically biasing the first arm such that the first arm contacts the sheet of paper, wherein a guide member adjacent to the first arm has a second guide portion that is shorter than the first guide portion.

摘要： An image forming apparatus having a printing medium feeding unit is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a driving roller and an idle roller which engage with each other and which feed a printing medium, an elastic member which elastically biases the driving roller toward the idle roller, and a releasing member. 摘要： A paper cassette removably connectible to a body of an image forming apparatus. The paper cassette prevents a paper from being bent or crumpled. The paper cassette has a case wherein a paper is loaded, a finger rotatably installed at a side of the case to press a front corner of the paper, a spring installed at a lower side of the finger to flexibly support the finger to press the front corner of the paper, and a pressing plate installed at a lower side of the case to press the front corner of the paper towards the finger. The finger rotates downwardly by pressing the spring when the paper is loaded. When the loading of the paper is finished, the finger is returned to a position to press the front corner of the paper by a recovery force of the spring.
