    Abstract: A stilt having a multiple-articulating, three segment base provides enhanced stability and a better translation of walking forces. The intermediate base segment is attached to both toe and heel base segments in a manner that permits relative rotational movement between each segment. Providing an intermediate base segment having a length that is equal to or greater than the toe and heel base segments enables a more natural forward translation of walking forces, instead of requiring the heel to absorb most of the energy as in previous stilt designs.

    Abstract: Motion or velocity stilts are provided a strapping system for attachment of the leg and foot of a user. An upper knee cuff uses dual straps that enwrap the leg and are secured by a front buckle and perimeter lengths of hook and loop fasteners. The hook and loop fasteners enable fore and aft leg positioning adjustments. The upper cuff is attached to the spring support utilizing a pair of knee braces that permit pivoting of the knee cuff as well as width adjustment for variation in user knee and leg diameters. The lower strapping system utilizes separate heel, instep, and toe straps to secure the foot to a foot plate.

    Abstract: According to embodiments of the disclosure, an illustrative serpentine climbing cord exercise climber herein may comprise: a plurality of lateral frame members that are connected at upwardly extending ends with a head plate; a plurality of bottom support members that are each connected at outwardly extending ends to respective downwardly extending ends of the plurality of lateral frame members, wherein inwardly extending ends of the plurality of bottom support members are connected by a central joiner that is substantially aligned along a vertical axis with the head plate; and a pulley system comprising one or more pulleys that are coupled to one of the plurality of lateral frame members, one of the plurality of bottom support members, the head plate, and the central joiner, the pulley system operable to allow a climbing cord to travel along the vertical axis and a path defined by the one or more pulleys.
