    Abstract: A unique method for determining compatibility between people who, in the preferred embodiment, utilize an interactive internet dating service. Users complete a compatibility questionnaire, first describing themselves and then describing their “ideal match” on questionnaire items whose response options vary between two extremes. The user defines a search based upon demographic information for an “ideal match.” The pool of completed self assessment questionnaires of current users is searched by the computer utilizing the search parameters defined by the user. Pearson correlation coefficients are computed upon the items in the users “ideal match” questionnaire and the pool of self assessment questionnaires defined by the search. The “ideal matches” are ranked and reported as percentile scores that are obtained from a norm group of correlation coefficients for each gender. Percentile scores are also reported in similar manner for each content scale of the compatibility questionnaire. The user is able to search for an “ideal match” utilizing separate content scales from the compatibility questionnaire as well as with combinations of content scales from the questionnaire.

    Abstract: The antipest mat protects vehicles against entry by small animals by giving the animals a deterrent electrical shock. The mat is made up of two sections joined together to form a closed shape with an open area in the middle. The sections are connected together at a pivot point that allows the mat to be opened so that it can be placed around a vehicle support point, such as a tire, and then closed to completely surround the vehicle support point. The upper insulative surface of the mat sections holds a pattern of closely spaced conductors. The conductors are arranged so that adjacent conductors are of opposite or differing polarities. The conductors are connected to one or more connectors. A source of electric power is provided to energize the conductors so that an animal contacting two or more adjacent conductors receives an electric shock.

    Abstract: A composite battery set, including a metal-ceramic ruthenium-oxide ultracapacitor and a secondary lithium-ion battery, is provided. The composite battery set is electrically connected to an electrical device, which cuts down the total impedance by the metal-ceramic ruthenium-oxide ultracapacitor to increase the output power and the current. The composite battery set is also able to react a pulse rise time less than 5 ms, to speed up the signal react time of the electronic device.     Abstract: A collapsible game decoy permits lifelike appearance during use and easy transportation or storage before or following use. The fully-assembled decoy comprises a decoy body and an air-capture-and-retention system associated with the decoy body.
