Abstract: A head-mounted display according to an embodiment includes a reflective member configured to reflect display light for forming a display image toward a user, a beam splitter arranged between the reflective member and the user across a space in front of a left eye and a space in front of a right eye, a first divider plate arranged in front of the beam splitter between the space in front of the left eye of the user and the space in front of the right eye, and a second divider plate arranged behind the beam splitter between the space in front of the left eye of the user and the space in front of the right eye, and an end of the first divider plate proximate to the beam splitter is hidden from the user.

Abstract: A preference determination apparatus includes: a stimulation unit configured to apply a visual, a tactile, and an auditory stimuli; an activity calculation unit configured to calculate degrees of autonomic nervous activity based on biological signals for the multiple stimuli respectively; a storage configured to store thresholds of autonomic nervous activity set in advance for the multiple stimuli respectively; and a determination unit configured to determine preference by comparing the calculated degrees of autonomic nervous activity with the corresponding stored thresholds, wherein the determination unit is further configured to determine that the preference is high when each of the calculated degrees of autonomic nervous activity for each of the stimuli is larger than each of the corresponding stored thresholds therefor, and when the calculated degree of autonomic nervous activity for the stimuli applied simultaneously is larger than the corresponding stored threshold therefor.
