    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a robust solution to an entity or an organization by enabling the entity to implement a system that provides an alternate mechanism compared to the standard near field communication (NFC) based communication. The system enables a standard smartphone to communicate secure data while providing an enhanced range of communication through an audio mode of transmission between entities. Further, alternative mode of transmissions such as a Bluetooth mode of transmission, a quick response code (QR) based mode of transmission, and a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) based mode of transmission are used for enabling short distance secure communication between entities. Secure storage, secure computation, or processing is performed within a public key infrastructure (PKI) enabled subscriber identity module (SIM) card for providing an effective solution.

    Abstract: A system and method for enabling a SIM card as a micro-platform for one or more third party micro-service applications. The method encompasses adding, a custom memory in the SIM card based on a telecom network operator's input. The method thereafter leads to partitioning, the custom memory into one or more custom-DFs, wherein the one or more custom-DFs are provided with an operating system support. Further the method encompasses assigning, an Application ID (AID) to each custom-DF. Also, the method encompasses assigning, an Application Program Interface (API) to each custom-DF to enable provision of the one or more third party micro-service applications in said each custom-DF. The method further comprises enabling, the SIM card as the micro-platform for the one or more third party micro-service applications based on the Application ID (AID) assigned to said each custom-DF and the Application Program Interface (API) assigned to said each custom-DF.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and a method for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) enabled Subscriber Information Management (SIM) for digital identity management. The method includes receiving a request for issuance of a digital identity for the SIM associated with a user. Responsive to an affirmative verification of a set of documents, the method includes transmitting user information determined from the verified set of documents and a predetermined signal to a Certification Authority (CA). Further, the digital identity is generated upon receiving a Certifying Signing Request (CSR) from an end-entity and a second predetermined signal from a verification source.
