摘要： A vibration densitometer having means for producing an output signal which is a pulse train of a pulse repetition frequency that is the function of the density of a fluid in which a densitometer probe is immersed. The densitometer has a linearization circuit which is exceptionally accurate for both liquid and gas density measurement or the like, the linearization circuit producing an output voltage Eoo given by the equation Eoo AT2 + CT + B, where A, B and C are constants, and T is the reciprocal of the pulse repetition frequency.

摘要： A preamplifier for a vibration densitometer for connection from a piezoelectric crystal and including a differential amplifier having a negative feedback capacitor. Noise discrimination is unexpectedly increased tenfold. The densitometer is also less temperature sensitive. A voltage divider having a tap is employed to set the noninverting input of the amplifier at a desired fixed D.C. reference level. A negative feedback resistor prevents amplifier drif. A bypass capacitor connected in parallel with one leg of the voltage divider references one A.C. output lead to ground.
