Abstract: Systems and methods for generating answers to questions. One method includes receiving a question having question terms; identifying candidate answers to the question having answer terms; searching data sources to determine passages including either a question term or an answer term in the candidate answer; scoring the passages for candidate answers using a scoring mechanism, the scoring mechanism computing a first degree of relevance of the passage to the question terms, computing a second degree of relevance of the passage to the answer terms of one of the candidate answers, and determining a score for the passage by combining the first degree of relevance and the second degree of relevance; ranking candidate answers to the question based on the scores associated with the scoring each of the passages for each of the candidate answers; and providing an answer to the question based on ranking of the candidate answers.

Abstract: Dynamically evaluating effectiveness of real-time messages is provided. A scalable signal reconstruction analysis of real-time message content in a question-and-answer format posted in a social network is performed. A message effectiveness evaluator model is generated based on the scalable signal reconstruction analysis of the real-time message content in the question-and-answer format. An effectiveness score corresponding to the real-time message content in the question-and-answer format is generated using the message effectiveness evaluator model.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for generating and transmitting a Personalized Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP). The computer receives an emergency condition real-time data from a plurality of building sensors, a tracking data of at least one user from a plurality of tracking sensors, a facility structural data from a facility database, and a stored user data from a user database for the at least one user. The computer generates a personalized emergency evacuation plan (PEEP) for the at least one user, wherein is a set of recommendations to put the user in the safest position, based on at least the emergency condition real-time data and the received stored user data. The computer transmits the PEEP to a user mobile device, wherein the user mobile device presents the PEEP to the at least one user.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for providing source code with predictable performance characteristics are provided. Aspects include performing a static analysis on the source code to identify one or more functions of the source code and a type associated with each of the one or more functions and performing a dynamic analysis on the source code by executing the source code and capturing telemetry data for the execution of each of the one or more functions. Aspects also include calculating a source code execution variability score for each of the one or more functions based at least in part on the captured telemetry data and the type associated with each of the one or more functions. Based on a determination that the source code execution variability score associated with one of the one or more functions is above a threshold value, aspects include remediating the one of the one or more functions.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are presented regarding automatically generating a document for a particular topic, and further utilizing an algorithm to automatically identify information in a resource that pertains to the topic. The document can be a purpose-specific document, created by a template configured to combine data fields to build the document. Each data field can be subject-matter specific with an associated algorithm. The algorithm can be trained to recognize and extract content that potentially meets the subject matter of the data field. The data field can be populated with the content. Subsequent editing of the content populating the data field can be monitored to determine an effectiveness of the algorithm to identify data of interest in the data repository. In the event of low success, the algorithm can be retrained. Further, the document can be regenerated if an algorithm is retrained, new information added to the repository, etc.

Abstract: A communication session between two or more computing devices is monitored. One or more share actions, that include one or more media documents, are identified in the communication session responsive to the media documents and based on the monitoring the communication session. Reaction data, that is related to the share actions, in the communication session is analyzed in response the share actions and based on the media documents. One or more relevant media documents are determined based on the analyzing the reaction data. The relevant media documents are analyzed based on the media documents. A first depiction rendered by a first of the devices of the communication session is modified based on the relevant media documents.

Abstract: Dynamic chat discourse rephrasing is provided. An analysis is performed of a real-time chat discourse conducted between a plurality of users connected via a network. A discourse comprehension model is generated based on the analysis of the real-time chat discourse. A set of text is rephrased in the real-time chat discourse to decrease user time to comprehend the set of text using the discourse comprehension model.

Abstract: A user is detected navigating to a webpage. A plurality of web elements of the webpage is identified. One or more web elements is determined to have a risk score that surpasses a risk threshold of being a dark pattern. The risk score is identified by analyzing each of the plurality of web elements. A mitigation action configured to counteract the dark pattern is executed in response to the one or more web elements having the risk score that surpasses the risk threshold. The mitigating action is executed substantially immediately upon the user navigating to the webpage.
