Abstract: A data transmission time obtaining method, apparatus, and system are provided. The method includes: A first device sends a first packet to a second device, and obtains a first send timestamp of the first packet; the first device receives a second packet that is sent by the second device and that corresponds to the first packet, and obtains a first receive timestamp of the second packet; the first device calculates, based on timing frequency of the second device, a second receive timestamp at which the second device receives the first packet and a second send timestamp at which the second device sends the second packet; and the first device calculates a data transmission time between the first device and the second device based on the first send timestamp, the first receive timestamp, the second send timestamp, and the second receive timestamp.

Abstract: A physical layer chip of a first physical port of a network device receives a packet and sends a first time stamp and the packet to a Media Access Control (MAC) chip of the first physical port. The MAC chip of the first physical port adds the first time stamp to the packet and sends the packet. A MAC chip of a second physical port receives the packet, extracts the first time stamp of the packet, and sends the packet to a physical layer chip of the second physical port. The MAC chip of the second physical port receives a second time stamp of the packet. The network device calculates a processing delay for the packet. The processing delay is a value obtained by subtracting the first time stamp from the second time stamp.

Abstract: A method includes a gateway node that obtains a data transmission parameter between a first-level node and each node in a first node set, where the first-level node is located on a first-level power distribution device in a power distribution grid, and the first node set includes a node located on a power distribution device at another level in the power distribution grid other than the first-level power distribution device; determines a second-level node directly coupled to the first-level node from the first node set based on the data transmission parameter between the first-level node and each node in the first node set; and generates a physical network topology of the power distribution grid.

Abstract: This application provides a latency-based transmission path control method, an apparatus, and a system. Device latencies of network node devices on an active transmission path, device latencies of network node devices on a standby transmission path, latencies of links between the network node devices on the active transmission path, and latencies of links between the network node devices on the active transmission path are obtained, and calculation is performed based on the respective device latencies and link latencies to obtain an active transmission path latency and a standby transmission path latency. Then, based on a latency-based switching mechanism, when the active transmission path latency is greater than a switching threshold and the standby transmission path latency is less than the switching threshold, an active-to-standby path switching command is generated.

Abstract: A method of delay measurement of a network node device is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a node delay value of a current packet when a preset time period starts. The method further includes determining, based on M+1 boundary values of preset M delay intervals, a delay interval in which the node delay value is located, and adding 1 to a value of a delay segment counter corresponding to the delay interval in which the node delay value is located, where M>1, M is a positive integer. The method further includes obtaining a node delay value of a next packet until the preset time period ends. The method further includes determining a cumulative probability Pacc.j that is greater than or equal to a target probability, and obtaining, as a delay threshold, a node delay value having the target probability.
