Abstract: A method for allocating a global label is provided, including: receiving, by a controller, a first message sent by a forwarding apparatus, where the first message carries a first label range, multiple labels included in the first label range are a subset of multiple labels included in a label space of the forwarding apparatus, and the first label range is not equal to the label space of the forwarding apparatus; and allocating, by the controller, a global label to the forwarding apparatus according to the first label range carried in the first message, where the global label is a label in the first label range. In addition, a method for obtaining a global label, a controller, and a forwarding apparatus are further provided. The foregoing solutions improve efficiency of global label allocation.

Abstract: The disclosure application discloses a method. The method includes: determining, by a control node, routing entry information of a service function forwarding node in a SFP in the SFC, where the routing entry information records a mapping relationship between route prefix information and next hop information, the route prefix information includes a SPI and a SI, the SPI is used to identify the SFP, the SI is used to identify a location of the service function forwarding node in the SFP, and the next hop information is used to indicate a next hop node of the service function forwarding node in the SFP; and sending, by the control node, the routing entry information to the service function forwarding node, where the routing entry information is used by the service function forwarding node to generate a forwarding table used to instruct the service function forwarding node to forward a packet.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a path determining method, apparatus, and system. In a hybrid network including one controller for implementing a control function, the controller may separately obtain network topology information of a first network and a second network of different network types by using a same control channel protocol. When the controller obtains a path determining requirement for the data transmission path, because the controller has the network topology information of the first network and the second network, during computation of the data transmission path, the controller can determine a path computation result including transmission path parts of the first network and the second network, without performing additional information exchange with another device, and send the path computation result to the first network device. In this way, planning efficiency of the data transmission path is improved.
