    Abstract: A communications method includes a first communications device that communicates a first signal on a first time domain resource in a first time unit, communicates a second signal on a third time domain resource in a second time unit, communicates a fourth signal on a second time domain resource in the first time unit, and communicates a third signal on a fourth time domain resource in the second time unit. The first time unit successively includes, in time domain, the first time domain resource, a first guard period, the second time domain resource, and a second guard period that are consecutive in time domain, and the second time unit successively includes, in time domain, the third time domain resource, a third guard period, the fourth time domain resource, and a fourth guard period that are consecutive in time domain.

In one example, the method includes: receiving scheduling information sent by a first serving cell, where the scheduling information carries at least a second serving cell identifier of a second serving cell and an available device to device D2D transmission resource in the second serving cell; performing cell synchronization with the second serving cell based on the second serving cell identifier; and sending device to device D2D data on the available D2D transmission resource in the second serving cell according to the scheduling information.

    Abstract: In a distance detection method, a target apparatus receives a first transmit signal from a detection apparatus. The target apparatus generates a first echo signal by modulating some of reflected signals of the first transmit signal to cause a first Doppler shift between the first echo signal and the first transmit signal. The target apparatus emits the first echo signal to the detection apparatus, which derives its distance from the target apparatus based on the first echo signal.

    Abstract: A synchronous communication method is provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a first terminal, first configuration information, where the first configuration information includes a first parameter; determining, by the first terminal according to a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) clock, a transmission timeslot corresponding to a current moment in a device-to-device (D2D) communications system; determining, by the first terminal according to the transmission timeslot and the first parameter, whether the current moment is a synchronization-information-sending moment; if the current moment is the synchronization-information-sending moment, sending, by the first terminal, sidelink synchronization information at the synchronization-information-sending moment, where the sidelink synchronization information carries indication information, the sidelink synchronization information is used to synchronize a second terminal with the first terminal, and the indication information is used to indicate, to the second terminal, that the first terminal is a synchronization source that uses the GNSS clock.
