Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for measuring user quality of experience QoE, where the method includes the following steps: receiving event information sent by a receiving end, where the event information includes condition information for determining a cause for shortage of valid media data in a buffer of the receiving end; determining, according to the condition information, whether the shortage of the valid media data in the buffer of the receiving end is caused by a service system or caused by a user's action; and measuring QoE decrease degrees according to different causes for the shortage of the valid media data in the buffer, respectively. In the method for measuring QoE according to embodiments of the present invention, shortage of valid media data in a buffer of a receiving end caused by a service system problem and shortage of valid media data in the buffer of the receiving end caused by a user's action are distinguished, and QoE decrease degrees are measured according to different causes for the shortage of the valid media data in the buffer, respectively, so that QoE is measured more accurately and more objectively, and network resources can be used properly.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus and a system for acquiring media service parameter indication are disclosed. In an embodiment the method includes acquiring, by a gateway GPRS support node (GGSN) or a packet data network gateway (PGW), a media service flow configuration parameter indication, wherein the media service flow configuration parameter indication comprises at least one of the following: a data packet sequence number, a current connection status, media information, or media play time and sending, by the GGSN or the PGW, the media service flow configuration parameter indication to a serving GPRS support node (SGSN) or a serving gateway (SGW). The method further includes sending, by the SGSN or the SGW, the media service flow configuration parameter indication to a radio access network (RAN) and acquiring, by the RAN, the media service flow configuration parameter indication.

Abstract:
A Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)-based buffer status updating method, device and a buffer status processor are provided, where the method includes, receiving an HTTP request from a terminal, triggering a buffer event according to the HTTP request, where the buffer event includes seek, pause, resume, and stream switch, and the method further includes updating a buffer status according to the buffer event, where the buffer status includes a normal play state, a play paused state, a re-buffering state, and a stream switch state. Hence, the buffer status is updated based on the buffer event in a manner of analyzing only an HTTP Protocol field such that a buffer model is closer to a real client buffer situation.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for setting a parameter in a data transmission service, a terminal, and a base station. The method includes: determining, by a terminal according to a terminal status, time-to-live of a packet on a network node; and sending, by the terminal, a survival report to a base station, where the survival report includes the time-to-live, so that the base station sets a packet transmission parameter according to the time-to-live. According to the embodiments of the present invention, user experience can be ensured.
Abstract:
A method for evaluating streaming media transmission quality is provided. Initial playback delay information is obtained, and a subjective experience variation value of a user terminal is calculated according to the initial playback delay information, so as to evaluate streaming media transmission quality. The method includes: monitoring a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection established with a user terminal; obtaining initial playback delay information if it is detected that the TCP connection established with the user terminal is a streaming media service connection; and calculating a subjective experience variation value of the user terminal according to the initial playback delay information. A device for evaluating streaming media transmission quality, a method for obtaining streaming media information, and a related device and system are also provided.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a buffer state estimation method and device. The method includes: obtaining a first continuous play duration corresponding to media data received by a terminal in a period of the present state estimation; calculating a second continuous play duration corresponding to media data in a current buffer according to a buffer state before the present state estimation and the first continuous play duration; and performing state estimation on the buffer according to the buffer state before the present state estimation, preset buffer configuration parameters and the second continuous play duration, and obtaining the present buffer state and start time and duration of the present buffer state, where the buffer state includes at least one of an initial buffering state, a normal play state, a rebuffering state, a play stop state and a play pause state.
