摘要： A luminaire hanger includes a link having an opening to hang on a hook and a connector coupled to the lower end of the link for supporting an offset load. The connector has a circular boss which fits into a circular recess in the link, the two being clamped together by a bolt. The boss and recess are surrounded by serrations to prevent relative rotation when they are clamped together. When released, the link and connector can be angularly adjusted to put the suspension opening above the center of gravity of the load to support the load in a level fashion.

摘要： An industrial luminaire comprising a central housing formed of two identical parts, a capacitor cover pivotally coupled to one side of the housing having a capacitor therein, a ballast and ballast cover on the other side of the housing, a lamp socket coupled to the bottom of the housing, and a top cover pivotally coupled to the top of the housing. Separation of the capacitor and the ballast from the heat generating lamp provides longer life and higher efficiency for these components. The pivotal coupling of the top cover and the capacitor cover provide for easy access during maintenance. The top cover is coupled to a fixed overhead support over the center of gravity of the entire structure providing a balanced, reduced stress connection.

摘要： A luminaire assembly comprises a lower portion for receiving a light emitting source and an upper housing that stores the electrical components of the luminaire. The lower portion has a base portion disposed against the canopy with a latch attachment portion, a lens secured to the base portion by a hinge mechanism that permits the lens to open with respect to the base portion, and a latch connected to the base portion and having a connecting portion for connecting the base portion to the lens. The upper housing is disposed above the canopy. A bracket is attached to the base portion and extends up through the aperture in the canopy and connects to an inner wall of an apertured portion of the upper housing to secure the lower portion to the upper housing. The upper housing may have extending deck supports to support the weight of the upper housing on the ribs of the canopy. A locking cam is provided to secure the bracket to the upper housing. The upper housing has a slot having an inner wall, an outer wall, and a gap disposed between the inner and outer walls so that a conduit having a stop at the connecting end may slid into the slot with a gasket disposed thereon to fill up the gap and provide a secure, sealed tool-less attachment of the conduit.

The light fixture is adapted to be positioned within a recess in the graded environment and includes a housing which encloses a lamp electrically connected to the photocontrol device. The self-flushing outer surface of the photocontrol device discourages the build-up of opaque material so that the photocontrol device can reliably detect changes in the ambient light conditions outside the light fixture and operate the lamp in response to the detected changes.
