    Abstract: A fuel cell stack includes a pair of end plates disposed on opposing sides of a fuel cell stacked body in a first direction, a coupling bar that bridges between the end plates, a fastening member that connects the end plates and the coupling bar in the first direction, and a cylindrical knock disposed inside an end plate side mounting hole and a coupling bar side mounting hole of the end plates and the coupling bar in the first direction, and being externally fitted to the fastening member inside the end plate side mounting hole and the coupling bar side mounting hole. A first seal member in close contact with at least an inner circumferential surface of the end plate side mounting hole and the fastening member is disposed in a portion located between the cylindrical knock and the fastening member inside the end plate side mounting hole.

    Abstract: A fuel cell stack includes a coolant channel provided between a first separator of a first power generation cell among power generation cells and a second separator of a second power generation cell among the power generation cells which is adjacent to the first power generation cell. A coolant manifold is connected to the coolant channel. A coolant manifold end member is connected to the coolant manifold. The coolant manifold end member includes an air vent wall having an opening provided at an uppermost position of the coolant manifold end member in a height direction of the fuel cell stack. The coolant manifold end member includes a wall which surrounds the air vent wall and which is thinner than the air vent wall. The air vent pipe protrudes from the air vent wall. The air vent pipe and the coolant manifold end member are integrally made.

    Abstract: A fuel cell stack includes fuel cells stacked in a stacking direction, a first end plate a second end plate, and first tightening members and second tightening members. The first tightening members couple long sides of the first end plate and long sides of the second end plate, and extend in the stacking direction. The second tightening members couple short sides of the first end plate and short sides of the second end plate, and extend in the stacking direction. Extensions are formed on both of long sides of the fuel cell, and the first tightening members have recessed portions engaged with the extensions.

    Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to allow desirably installing a fuel cell stack in an installation site with a simple and compact configuration. The fuel cell stack comprises an end plate. A pair of mount parts are integrally disposed on the end plate protruding downward on both sides of the lower end part thereof by a depression part being disposed on the lower end part of the end plate. The mount parts are anchored in the installation site for installing the fuel cell stack. Some screws are positioned in the mount parts to anchor to the end plate manifold members which link to a fuel gas supply connector hole and an oxidant gas exhaust connector hole of the fuel cell stack.

    Abstract: In a fuel cell stack, knock pins extending in a stacking direction are provided between a first end plate and a second end plate for positioning a stack body. The first end plate and the second end plate have insertion holes for insertion of knock pins. A diameter-increasing surface is formed in an inner circumferential surface of each insertion hole in a direction spaced from the knock pin to increase the diameter of the insertion hole.
