Abstract:
A seat position controller performs seat position change processing by performing longitudinal position change processing and at least one of vertical position change processing and tilt angle change processing. When the seat position controller performs the seat position change processing, a change degree setting part sets the degree of speed change in the longitudinal direction of a seat main body during the longitudinal position change processing smaller than the degree of speed change in the vertical direction of the seat main body during the vertical position change processing, and the degree of speed change in a tilt angle direction of a seat back during the tilt angle change processing.
Abstract:
A method and system for providing hands free operation of at least one vehicle door is provided that include determining if a portable device is located within at least one local area polling zone of a vehicle. The method and system also include determining if the portable device is stationary for a predetermined period of time within the at least one local area polling zone of the vehicle. The method and system further include supplying an amount of power to a motor associated with the at least one vehicle door to open or close the at least one vehicle door if it is determined that the portable device is stationary for the predetermined period of time.
Abstract:
In a switching control device of a vehicle control device, when a vehicle is in a non-traveling condition, an operating method for a pressing operation, which is carried out with respect to a push switch in relation to a switching control for switching an operating state of a drive source of the vehicle or a power supply state to a vehicle mounted device of the vehicle, in a case that the operating state of the drive source of the vehicle or the power supply state to the vehicle mounted device of the vehicle is switched from off to on, differs from an operating method for a pressing operation in a case that the operating state or the power supply state is switched from on to off.
Abstract:
A smart entry system includes an unlocking sensor, a locking sensor, a smart control unit, and a central control unit. The unlocking sensor detects an operator's intention of unlocking a door. The locking sensor detects the operator's intention of locking the door. The smart control unit confirms whether the operator is an authorized user. The central control unit opens or closes a door lock when the unlocking sensor or the locking sensor is operated and the operator is a regular operator. The central control unit opens the door lock when the unlocking sensor and the locking sensor are operated substantially at the same time while the door lock is in a closed state.

Abstract:
A vehicle window control system is provided. The vehicle window control system includes a window switch that generates a first signal, a first computer that reads a state of the window switch and generates a second signal, and a second computer that controls movement of the vehicle window based on either the first signal or the second signal. The second computer receives the second signal from the first computer through serial communication and the first signal from the switch portion through a hardwire.

A system and method for providing hands free operation of at least one vehicle door that include determining if a portable device is located within at least one local area polling zone of a vehicle. The system and method also include determining if the portable device is stationary for a predetermined period of time within the at least one local area polling zone of the vehicle and determining if the portable device is located outside of at least one door area zone of the vehicle, wherein the at least one door area zone of the vehicle includes a space that is occupied by the at least one vehicle door. The system and method supplying an amount of power to a motor associated with the at least one vehicle door to open or close the at least one vehicle door.
Abstract:
A system and method for providing hands free operation of at least one vehicle door that include determining if a portable device is located within at least one local area polling zone of a vehicle. The system and method additionally include determining if the portable device is stationary for a first period of a predetermined period of time within the at least one local area polling zone of the vehicle and providing a notification of a remaining duration of the predetermined period of time to instruct an individual carrying the portable device to remain in a stationary position to allow the portable device to remain stationary for the remaining duration of the predetermined period of time. The system and method further include supplying an amount of power to open or close the at least one vehicle door if it is determined that the portable device remains stationary for the predetermined period of time.
Abstract:
A keyless entry device and method for powering the keyless entry system, such as a key fob, are disclosed. The keyless entry device has a charging battery, a rechargeable battery, at least one long range function button for a long range function, and at least one short range function button for a short range function. The method includes charging the rechargeable battery using the charging battery, wherein the rechargeable battery has a larger burst current delivery capacity than the charging battery. The method further includes sending a short range transmission from the keyless entry device using at least one of: the charging battery, and the rechargeable battery, when the at least one short range function button is actuated. The method further includes sending a long range transmission from the keyless entry device at least one of: the charging battery, and the rechargeable battery, when the at least one long range function button is actuated.
