摘要： An automobile seat comprising a seat bottom rotatable around a transverse axis approximately parallel to a car body floor, a seat back mounted on the seat bottom and capable of being inclined forwards, a seat bottom lock for releasably locking the seat bottom to the floor, a seat back lock for releasably locking the seat back to the seat bottom, and a lock releasing and linking mechanism for linking the forward inclination of the seat back and the rotation of the seat bottom to each other so as to conduct both seat back forward inclination and seat bottom rotation by a single operation. The lock releasing and linking mechanism is provided with an actuation piece for detecting the rotation of the seat bottom and a drive member for releasing the seat back lock by the actuation of the actuation member. Or, the mechanism is provided with an interlocking member for releasing the seat bottom lock in a manner interlocked with the forward inclination of the seat back.

摘要： An automobile seat comprising a seat bottom rotatable around a transverse axis approximately parallel to a car body floor, a seat back inclinably mounted on the seat bottom, a seat bottom lock for releasably locking the seat bottom to the floor, a seat back lock for releasably locking the seat back to the seat bottom, and a link for interlocking these locks in such a manner that, when one of them is released, the other is automatically released. The seat bottom lock is provided with a striker fixed to the floor and a lock piece mounted on the seat bottom for engagement with the striker and the seat back lock is provided with a hook for locking the rotation of the seat back. The link transmits the movement of either the lock piece or the hook to the other. In a reclining seat, the seat back lock is formed to releasably lock a knuckle bracket of the reclining mechanism to the seat back or the seat bottom.

摘要： A front seat includes a seat cushion and a reclining back cushion, and is so arranged as to move back and forth between forward and retracted positions. The seat is temporarily released from the latched position for moving the seat towards the most forward position for facilitating movement of the rear seat passengers into and out of the vehicle. Thereafter, the front seat is again returned and latched in an original position by the operation of latch releasing mechanism employed in the front seat.

摘要： A seat back reclining mechanism including a stationary bracket secured to the seat bottom and a movable bracket secured to the seat back, the stationary and movable brackets being connected together for pivotable movement about a pivot axis. The movable bracket is formed with a series of indentations formed along an arc having a center on the pivot axis. The stationary bracket has a first and second locking lever respectively carrying a first and second locking pins which alternately engage selected ones of the indentations. Each of the locking levers is so oriented that when the locking pin on the lever is engaged with the indentation, the lever is directed substantially tangentially with respect to the arc along which said indentations are formed.
