Abstract:
A bottom of a mouthpiece 2 of a snorkel comprises a first base plate 16 having through-holes 22 for drainage and against which a non-return valve 7 bears from the outside, second base plates 17 spaced from the first base plate 16 toward a top of the snorkel so as to cover the through-holes and supports 18 extending between the first plate 16 and each of the second base plates 17. The interior of the mouthpiece 2 drainably communicates with the exterior thereof through openings defined between the first base plate 16 and each of the second base plates 17 and the through-holes 22, when the non-return valve 7 is opened.
Abstract:
A diving jacket 1 includes a back-plate 22, shoulder belts 6 and a waist belt 7. The waist belt 7 includes a pair of belt members 32, 33 each having a circumferentially rear end region 46 is fixed to an associated connector plate 31 made of a material harder than the belt 7 and disposed between the rear end region 46 and the back-plate 22. A lower end region 34 of the shoulder bent 6 also is fixed to the associated connector plate 31.
Abstract:
A buoyancy regulator for diving includes a cylinder band for fixation of an air cylinder. The cylinder band comprises a belt-like part and a buckle which is formed with a plurality of band insertion slits arranged in a longitudinal direction of the cylinder band. Each pair of side walls respectively lying on both sides of each of the insertion slits is marked with the same letters indicating a sequence in which the belt-like part should be inserted through the buckle.
Abstract:
Swim fins includes an instep of a foot pocket which is provided with a plurality of ribs extending forward from the vicinity of an opening for foot insertion and grooves each defined between each pair of the adjacent ribs and extending forward. The instep is thinner along the grooves than along the ribs.
Abstract:
A diving jacket includes a back-plate 22 and a pair of waist belt members respectively having circumferentially rear end regions fixed to the back-plate 22 by a means of associated connector plates 31. Rear end regions 37 of the respective connector plates 31 are formed with a plurality of dovetail tenons 51 or a plurality of dovetail grooves 52 arranged in vertical direction of the connector plates 31 so as to extend in parallel one to another and the back-plate 22 is formed with much more dovetail grooves 52 or dovetail tenons 51 than those formed in the connector plates 31 so as to be operatively associated with the dovetail tenons 51 or dovetail grooves 52 of the connector plates 31, respectively.
Abstract:
A snorkel which includes a main conduit having an upper opening as well as a lower opening and a branch conduit branched from the main conduit. The branch conduit is formed at its top with a mouthpiece and a proximal end of the branch pipe is introduced into the main conduit, then curved toward the upper opening, and thereby eliminates swimmer physical fatigue due to purge diving use of the snorkel.
Abstract:
A buoyancy compensating jacket is provided on a waist portion with a pocket having a first flap, a pouch having a flat cord adapted to be inserted into and taken out from the pocket with a weight packed into the pouch. As a guide means for the flat cord, at least one of a substantially C-shaped guide ring provided at a distal end of the first flap substantially in the vertically middle and a groove formed on an outer surface of the pocket and/or an inner surface of the first flap substantially in the vertically middle.
Abstract:
A practice device for corrected golf swing basically comprises a frame which is relatively long in one direction and a pair of strip-shaped members extending in alignment with each other in the one direction so as to define a straight target line. The frame includes a pair of space defining members extending in the one direction in parallel to each other leaving a space therebetween so that said space is adjustable. The strip-shaped members linearly extend outward in the one direction from respective middle locations on the lines connecting respective pairs of the frame ends which are opposed in a direction orthogonal to said one direction, respectively.
Abstract:
Here is disclosed an attachment for a golf tee improved to support a golf ball above a top face of the golf tee. An attachment constructed to be mounted on a head of a golf tee has a first annular segment having a generally inverted cone shape that is cut off at the top and adapted to be close round a peripheral surface of the head of the golf tee, a cylindrical second annular segment extending downward from a lower end of the first annular segment for partially surrounding a leg of the golf tee, and an elastically deformable supporting segment extending upward from an upper end of the first annular segment so as to support the golf ball with an upper distal end thereof. The first annular segment is formed with elastically deformable tongues and each of these tongues is formed on an inner surface thereof with a salience adapted to come in contact with a top face of the golf tee from above.
Abstract:
A laminar block for lining an inner wall of a furnace is composed of a number of individual laminated sheets of inorganic fibers sewed together by means of chain stiches. When the laminar block is cut to size, severing the thread, the chain stitches prevent the laminated sheets from separating.
