    Abstract: A method of power switching includes receiving a command from an external aircraft controller to power an aircraft load from an aircraft voltage bus. The method includes in response to the command from the external aircraft controller, controlling a relay to connect or disconnect an aircraft voltage bus from an aircraft load. Controlling the relay includes current monitoring the relay and voltage monitoring the relay power switching. The method can include receiving temperature feedback indicative of temperature of the relay, and using the temperature feedback for at least one of controlling the relay and/or prognostic and health monitoring. The method can include outputting feedback to the external aircraft controller relating to status, operation, and health of the relay.

    Abstract: A conductor shielding termination assembly can include a housing tube defining an inner diameter housing channel therethrough and having housing threads on an outer diameter thereof. The housing tube can be made of conductive material. The assembly can include a shoulder bushing configured to insert within the inner diameter housing channel of the housing tube. The shoulder bushing can define an inner diameter bushing channel sized to receive an unshielded portion of a conductor. The assembly can include a jam nut comprising a nut inner diameter channel sized to receive a shielded portion of the conductor and nut threads on an inner diameter thereof configured to mesh with the housing threads. The jam nut and housing tube can be configured to trap a shielding termination within the meshed housing threads and jam nut threads.

    Abstract: A power feeder device can include a base having a mounting portion and a plurality of connector structures extending from the mounting portion and spaced apart relative to each other to form a respective gap therebetween. Each connector structure can be configured to receive a respective pair of terminals to electrically connect the respective pair of terminals within connector structures and to block a line of sight between an adjacent pair of terminals. The device can also include a cover configured to mate with the base to enclose each of the plurality of connector structures and to increase a length of a creepage path between each pair of terminals by at least partially inserting into each gap between the connector structures. The base and the cover can be configured to form a terminal opening on each lateral side when assembled to allow pass-through of a conductor and/or portion of each terminal.

    Abstract: A bussing connector is provided and includes bus bar connections, output elements and dielectric material. The bus bar connections each include an output section and an input section. The input sections cooperatively form a multiphase alternating current (AC) input. The output elements are arranged along and in electrical communication with the output sections of each of the bus bar connections. The dielectric material is configured to partially surround and partially electrically insulate the input and output sections and the output elements of each of the bus bar connections. The dielectric material is further configured to expose the multiphase AC input and portions of each of the outlet elements of each of the bus bar connections.
