Abstract: Radio equipment, a resource management method, and a communication system are provided. The radio equipment in the communication system can be connected to a plurality of radio equipment controllers, and the radio equipment can obtain a carrier establishment request from one of the plurality of radio equipment controllers, and determine, based on the carrier establishment request, a physical resource used to establish a carrier. Because at least two radio equipment controllers correspond to different physical resources in the radio equipment, the radio equipment can determine, based on the physical resource determined based on the carrier establishment request and the physical resources corresponding to the radio equipment controllers in the radio equipment, whether to establish the carrier. Therefore, when the plurality of radio equipment controllers share same radio equipment, flexibility of managing the radio equipment by the radio equipment controller can be improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A first device (for example, a terminal device or a network device) determines that a first data frame is lost. The first device discards a first data packet received from an upper layer, where the first data packet is a part of or all data packets in a second data frame, the second data frame is located after the first data frame, and the second data frame is associated with the first data frame. According to the method disclosed in this application, a data frame transmission failure is identified, and proactive discarding of a data packet in a subsequent data frame associated with the lost data frame is triggered, to avoid a waste of air interface resources and transmission resources, reduce execution of unnecessary decoding operations, and reduce power consumption of the device while improving resource utilization.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives first indication information from an access network device. The first indication information indicates time-frequency positions of M transmission opportunities, an amount of data that can be carried on each of the M transmission opportunities matches a data amount of a first-type video frame, and the data amount of the first-type video frame is less than a data amount of a second-type video frame. The M transmission opportunities include a first transmission opportunity, the first transmission opportunity corresponds to a first video frame, and M is a positive integer. If the first video frame belongs to the second-type video frame, the terminal device sends the first video frame to the access network device on a second transmission opportunity. An amount of data that can be carried on the second transmission opportunity matches the data amount of the second-type video frame. In this way, a problem that an amount of data that can be carried on a transmission opportunity does not match a data amount of a video frame is effectively resolved, and the access network device and the terminal device can transmit a video frame in a semi-static scheduling manner.
