    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for switching of a device, an M2M platform and a network system. The method includes: a machine-to-machine M2M platform receives a re-registration message including a position of a device in a network service capability layer NSCL resource tree before registration and a position of the device in the resource tree of the NSCL after registration; the M2M platform generates mapping relationship between the position of the device in the resource tree of the NSCL before registration and the position of the device in the resource tree of the NSCL after registration. By way of the present invention, the problem in the prior art can be solved in a manner of re-registration.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for sending a packet. The method for sending a packet includes: receiving an original packet; querying a pre-configured GRE forwarding entry including next-hop address information and outbound interface information, and obtaining next-hop address information and outbound interface information of a GRE tunnel used to send the original packet; encapsulating the original packet into a GRE packet; encapsulating the GRE packet into an outer layer protocol packet; and selecting a sending path in the GRE tunnel according to the next-hop address information and outbound interface information, and sending the outer layer protocol packet through the sending path. Therefore, according to the method and apparatus, a packet sending path may be independently selected, thereby reasonably configuring and efficiently using each path of a GRE tunnel, and improving packet sending efficiency.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a charging method and apparatus for machine-to-machine communications. The method includes: receiving a resource access request, where the resource access request includes a destination identifier; determining the current resource access is a charging event; sending the resource access request to a main service capability layer according to the destination identifier; receiving a resource access response, and determining charging data for the current resource access; and sending the charging data to a charging server. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the M2M service capability layer determines the charging data according to the resource access request, and sends the charging data to the charging server for charging the request initiator, thereby addressing a charging problem that arises when the request initiator uses the underlying network in a case in which the request initiator does not subscribe to the underlying network.
