    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication processing method of terminal information. In an embodiment, a method comprises: sending, by a first access network device, a secondary base station addition request to a second access network device, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and receiving, by the first access network device, a secondary base station addition acknowledgement from the second access network device to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a data transmission method, including: configuring, by a first network element, a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) reordering time for a terminal; sending, by the first network element, the PDCP reordering time of the terminal to a second network element; sending, by the first network element, a PDCP data packet of the terminal to the second network element, where the PDCP reordering time of the terminal is used to determine a transmission priority of the PDCP data packet of the terminal on the second network element. According to embodiments of the present application, a data packet loss can be reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method in a multi-carrier communications system. The multi-carrier communications system includes a first carrier and a second carrier; a first terminal accesses a wireless network by using a first network device in which the first carrier is located, and is allocated with a radio network temporary identifier C-RNTI; and the method includes: a second network device in which the second carrier is located receives a request message requesting the second network device to allocate the C-RNTI to the first terminal; and when the C-RNTI is allocated by the second network device to a second terminal, the second network device allocates the C-RNTI the same as the C-RNTI of the second terminal to the first terminal, and staggering a communication resource used by the first terminal on the second carrier and a communication resource used by the second terminal on the second carrier.

    Abstract: A handover method includes receiving, by a target master base station, a handover request from a source master base station. The handover request is useable to request handover of a user equipment from the source master base station to the target master base station. The method further includes sending, by the target master base station, a handover request acknowledgment message to the source master base station based on the handover request, establishing, by the target master base station, a communication connection to the user equipment, and adding, by the target master base station, a secondary base station for the user equipment. The handover request acknowledgment message indicates that the target master base station allows the user equipment to be handed over from the source master base station to the target master base station.
