摘要: A control apparatus of a vehicle included a parking determination unit configured to determine whether the vehicle is about to be parked in a parking space, and a collision avoidance unit configured to be able to execute an avoidance function for avoiding collision with an object that is moving in a direction intersecting a longer direction of the vehicle. While the vehicle is about to be parked in the parking space, in a case where an angle between the longer direction of the vehicle and a longer direction of the parking space is larger than a threshold value, the collision avoidance unit inactivates the avoidance function, and in a case where the angle between the longer direction of the vehicle and the longer direction of the parking space is smaller than the threshold value, the collision avoidance unit activates the avoidance function.

When the vehicle is travelling toward an intersection, in a case where it is determined that there is the possibility that the vehicle will collide with the moving object, the braking control unit applies higher braking force, and in a case where it is not determined that there is such a possibility and it is determined that the traffic light is red, the braking control unit applies lower braking force.

摘要: A control apparatus of a vehicle executes an avoidance operation for avoiding collision with an object that is moving in a direction intersecting a longer direction of the vehicle. In a case where the vehicle is travelling on a first road, and makes a turn toward a first traffic lane of a second road intersecting the first road, the apparatus does not set a vehicle that is travelling on a second traffic lane of the second road that is farther from the vehicle than the first traffic lane, as a target for the avoidance operation, if a predetermined condition is not satisfied, or irrespective of whether or not the predetermined condition is satisfied, and sets a vehicle that is travelling on the first traffic lane, as the target, irrespective of whether or not the predetermined condition is satisfied.
