摘要: A vehicle includes a suspension that supports a front wheel thereon, and a road surface state decision unit that decides a road surface state by detection of an acceleration sensor. The acceleration sensor is provided at a lower portion of the suspension and is capable of detecting an acceleration at least in a one-axis direction. The suspension is a front fork that supports the front wheel of the saddle riding vehicle. The front fork includes a bottom case that connects a lower portion of the front fork and an axle of the front wheel to each other. The acceleration sensor is attached to the bottom case.

When it is determined that a collision has occurred and determined that no occupant is riding the host vehicle, the actuator control unit executes a step of positioning the front wheel at a position deviating from a central position.

摘要: A link mechanism includes a shock absorber rod pivotally supported in an upwardly and downwardly swingable manner on a body frame. A shock absorber arm is disposed between a pair of left and right rod portions constituting the shock absorber rod. A front end portion of the shock absorber arm is connected to a lower end portion of a shock absorber unit, a rear upper end portion is connected to a swing arm, and a rear lower end portion is connected to a rear end portion of the shock absorber rod. A link guard covers at least an area from a front end portion of the shock absorber rod to the front end portion of the shock absorber arm on the lower side thereof to be fixed to and to spread over the pair of left and right rod portions.

摘要: A saddle-ride vehicle includes a steering shaft, a head pipe, a main frame, a top bridge and a bottom bridge, an upper end bearing and a lower end bearing, a potentiometer, a bracket, and a thread nut. The steering shaft has a shaft axis. The head pipe supports the steering shaft to be rotatable around the shaft axis. The main frame extends from the head pipe toward a rear side of a vehicle body. The top bridge and the bottom bridge are fixed to upper and lower ends of the steering shaft, respectively. The upper end bearing and the lower end bearing are provided inside the head pipe at upper and lower ends of the head pipe, respectively to support the steering shaft rotatably. The potentiometer includes a cable and is configured to output an electric signal in accordance with a pullout amount of the cable.

The control device 23 operates the steering actuator 43 so that the front wheel suspension device is turned to the handle lock position P1 when detecting a predetermined lock standby state.

The vehicle height adjustment device includes an actuator unit and a cushion unit connected with each other by a pipe. The actuator unit has a stepped portion, and at least a part of the cushion unit is disposed in a space formed by the stepped portion.
