摘要: A vehicle control system includes a lane change intention detector that detects an intention of a lane change by an occupant of a vehicle, a recognizer that recognizes a surrounding situation of the vehicle, and a lane change controller that determines whether the lane change by the vehicle is possible based on the surrounding situation recognized by the recognizer, and changes a lane of the vehicle to another lane, independently of a steering operation of the occupant of the vehicle, based on a detection result of the lane change intention detector and the determined result, wherein the lane change controller decides a starting timing of the lane change based on whether a predetermined time has passed or the vehicle has traveled a predetermined distance after the intention of the lane change is detected by the lane change intention detector.

摘要: A surrounding information acquisition section and a recognition unit (a surrounding detection unit) detect a first position (a change position) at which the type of a lane mark is switched. A lane change determination unit outputs a determination result whether lane change is available or unavailable on the basis of the type of the lane mark ahead of the first position to a notification mechanism (a notification unit) at a time point at which a vehicle has reached a predetermined range including the first position. The notification mechanism makes notification of the determination result.

摘要: A marker used to detect an axial deviation of a radio wave axis Ar of a radar unit is provided in front of the radar unit and outside a radar field of view range set based on a filed of view angle θ of the radar unit on a vehicle. A relative position between the radar unit and the marker is different between before and after an axial deviation of the radio wave axis Ar of the radar unit occurs. Thus, an axial deviation (an amount Δ0 of axial deviation in an azimuth direction and an amount Δα of axial deviation in an elevation angle direction) of the radio wave axis Ar of the radar unit can be detected by obtaining a difference in marker detection position before and after the axial deviation by the radar unit.
