Abstract:
A system management method for a management computer coupled to a computer system, the computer system including a plurality of computers, an operations system being built thereon the computer system, the operations system including a plurality of task nodes each having allocated thereto computer resources, the system management method including: a step of analyzing a configuration of the computer system for specifying a important node, which is an important task node in the operations system; a step of changing an allocation amount of the computer resources allocated to the important node for measuring a load of the operations system; a step of calculating a first weighting representing a strength of associations among the plurality of task nodes based on a measurement result of the load; and a step of specifying a range impacted by a change in the load of the important node based on the calculated first weighting.
Abstract:
A plurality of process content is retained, said process content including identifiers of a plurality of part content included in each process and information which denotes dependencies among the plurality of part content. When information is inputted which designates a first process and the part content of a problem portion which is included in the first process, a process similar to the first process is retrieved. On the basis of whether there is a change in any of the plurality of part content which is included in the retrieved process, an evaluation value of the retrieved process is either incremented or decremented, and the information relating to the plurality of processes is outputted on the basis of the evaluation value.
Abstract:
In performance estimation when the configuration of a computer system is changed, the influence, on performance, of a temporary increase in load to a computer system due to reallocation of a process request allocated to a degenerated server to another server as a result of server degeneration is taken into consideration. In an embodiment, an information processing device which evaluates the performance of the computer system estimates the performance of the computer system when operation of a server included in the computer system is stopped based on the throughput required for the server at the time of operation stop and outputs the estimated performance of the computer system.
Abstract:
A management apparatus comprises a processor configured to execute a program and a storage resource configured to store the program, wherein the processor executes: an identifying process configured to identify an another job having a scheduled execution period overlapping with a scheduled execution period of an estimation subject job among a plurality of jobs executed at a first server from the plurality of jobs; a calculating process configured to calculate an islanding execution time in which the estimation subject job is executed individually at the first server based on the scheduled execution period of the estimation subject job and the scheduled execution period of the another job identified in the identifying process and a creation process configured to create a schedule which correlates the estimation subject job with the islanding execution time calculated in the calculating process.
