    摘要: The present invention provides a blended fuel and methods for producing the blended fuel, wherein a synthetic fuel derived from a alternative resources such as natural gas, associated gas, biomass, or other feedstocks is blended with a traditional, petroleum derived fuel. A blended fuel which includes greater than 5% by volume of the synthetic fuel has an overall improved lifecycle greenhouse gas content of about 2.5% or more compared to the petroleum derived fuel. Also, blending of the low carbon fuel to the traditional, petroleum fuel improves various performance characteristics of the traditional fuel by at least 5%.

    摘要: An easily transportable micro-scale process is described for the direct production of liquid fuels from flare gas, biogas, stranded natural gas, natural gas emissions from methane hydrate dissociation, and other low-volume, gas-phase hydrocarbon resources. The process involves the design of an integrated series of tubular catalytic reactors in which each consecutive catalytic reactor in the series has been designed with larger volumes of catalyst so that a single pass efficiency of about 90% or greater is achieved while keeping the temperatures and pressures of each reactor similar and without requiring tailgas recycling to the reactors. Typically, the process employs a direct fuel production catalyst that produces undetectable, detrimental carboxylic acids in the fuel and catalyst reaction water. As a result, the directly produced, premium fuels are non-corrosive and do not degrade during long-term storage.

    摘要: The present invention generally relates to improved catalysts that provide for reduced product contaminants, related methods and improved reaction products. It more specifically relates to improved direct fuel production and redox catalysts that provide for reduced levels of certain oxygenated contaminants, methods related to the use of those catalysts, and hydrocarbon fuel or fuel-related products that have improved characteristics. In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a method of converting one or more carbon-containing feedstocks into one or more hydrocarbon liquid fuels. The method includes the steps of: converting the one or more carbon-containing feedstocks into syngas; and, converting the syngas to one or more hydrocarbons (including liquid fuels) and a water fraction. The water fraction comprises less than 500 ppm of one or more carboxylic acids.
