摘要： The present invention provides a method for establishing direct mobile to mobile communication between cellular mobile terminals. The method includes selecting a frequency designated as a mobile communication frequency within a cellular communication system, and transmitting a communication initiation sequence at the selected frequency by a first mobile terminal. A second mobile terminal then monitors the designated mobile communication frequencies, and detects the communication initiation sequence. In at least one embodiment, selecting a frequency includes determining the region in which the first mobile terminal is operating, and selecting a mobile communication frequency for the determined region. In at least a further embodiment, the mobile communication frequency is a mobile transmission frequency for the determined region. In at least a still further embodiment, selecting a frequency includes selecting a frequency that is designated as a mobile transmit frequency in a first supported region and is designated as a mobile receive frequency in a second supported region.

The weather resistant wooden door includes at least two stiles, a bottom rail, and a top rail configured to form the door assembly. A moisture resistant overlay is attached to either the aforementioned door components before assembly into a door or to the door assembly itself. The overlay is bonded to the underlying member by placing the overlay and member into a press where the pressure in the press is elevated for a predetermined amount of time. The overlay inhibits the infiltration of moisture from the environment.

摘要： A support structure for a compact planar cooling device is presented. The support structure allows the cooling device to be made with a simpler structure than most conventional cooling devices. The cooling device includes a planar casing, a wick layer, and the support structure. The support structure includes a flat plate with a portion cut out to form an opening and a spacer on the flat plate. The spacer is made by bending or folding the cut-out portion of the plate. The spacer enhances coolant circulation inside the cooling device by pushing the wick layer against the inner surface of the casing and maintaining a set distance between the support structure and the casing to allow unimpeded coolant movement. The cooling device can be made cost-effectively without compromising heat transfer efficiency.

Each of the bracket members includes one or more upright arms. Each arm includes one or more cut tabs which constitute a separate member to engage with a deflector on a conventional fixed frame or drop-type pendent or ceiling sprinkler or with an arm supporting such deflector from the sprinkler body. The tabs are spaced at various heights from the base of the ceiling member to permit the cover to be mounted at adjustable heights on the deflector or the arms of the sprinkler. Frame-type sprinklers may be modified by the provision of one or more complementary engagement structures on one or both arms to engage one or a plurality of the bracket tabs.

摘要： A lawn edging tool comprises a first post which is hollow and having an open lower end to which a cutting blade is secured. A second post is fitted through the open lower end of and slideably held in the hollow first post The second post has a lower end provided with a ground plate below the first post. A spring is trapped between the upper end of the second post and a spring stop provided within the first post. This spring is compressed by pushing the first post downwardly over the second post with the ground plate in a ground engaging position to move the cutting blade on the first post downwardly from a storage to a cutting position. The spring, after being compressed, then provides a bias to raise the first post relative to the second post and to return the cutting blade to the storage position. Also provided on the lawn edging tool is a connector which holds the cutting blade against the lower end of the second post while allowing the blade to slide between the cutting and the storage positions The connector also prevents the second post from completely sliding out of the first post.

摘要： A bracket system used in suspending a window cover frame comprises first and second bracket members. The first bracket member has a main body portion made from a rigid high strength material for mounting to a support surface for the bracket system and for holding the second bracket member. The first bracket member has a connector to releasably secure the first and second bracket members to one another. The connector is pressed from the material of the main body portion of the first bracket member in the form of a pair of wings. Each wing comprises a base part which remains attached to the first bracket member and an outer part spaced by a gap from and being generally parallel with the main body portion. The outer parts of the wings face away from another. The connector has a length which spans both of the outer parts of the wings and a width which is less than the length of the connector. The second bracket member has an opening with a length greater and a width less than the length of the connector. The width of the opening is at least slightly greater than the width of the connector. The connector is fittable through the opening on the second bracket member to an insertion position when the connector and the opening are aligned length to length with another and the second bracket member is twistable to a locking position where it fits into each gap and is locked between each of the outer parts of the connector and the main body portion of the first bracket member.
